JL is a dark horse, in some respects…
Nah, not convinced, love, sorry.
New York Times Quote:
The Adventures of André & Wally B. is about “milking the one joke”. Some people get it, some people don’t. George Lucas couldn’t understand The Adventures of André & Wally B. Have you heard about the Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop…? Check it out.

One of our 5-10 local film critics of note said something before he even saw the movie to the effect that it was a shameful sellout to the merchandising arm at Disney. It still dominates front court at ToysRUs. Pixar has put perhaps $3 Billion in the bank from all its movies and toys, then subtract what it has cost to do all the new construction and whatever the cost is for the new Vancouver facility.
Really? A nice girl I used to sit next to all the time at the internet cafe where I did most of my posting in previous years here has a small brother, aged 3 then, who obsessively watched that movie. Little tots and rats aren’t that far apart and eating food is understood by everyone, and making it is observed even by 3 year olds, I suppose. Even if a 3 year old doesn’t quite get the story, they may love the action and more importantly, the way each character is presented.
