It was hinted at ever so slightly.Like everyone’s favorite Ratatouille freak Mitch said, you see them together 99.9% of the time, so it seems pretty apparent. It could be possible that they are just engaged at the end of the film-I have no clue.
Colette Linguini - Eheh. Yeah, I’m not so sure about that myself, actually. However,…
…[spoil]Linguini and Colette probably did get “hitched” at one point in time. Like Annoying stated, you see them together a good percentage of the time after “the kiss”, but it may be that they are/were still just dating. Unless Colette just preferred to sleep in a separate bed by herself, they may not have gotten married until later on.[/spoil]
I guess we’ll just have to ask Brad Bird when we meet him. (snigger)

Ok I see your point. Just a thought, though it’s a little unrelated: [spoil] I can’t see the two of them married, somehow. Living together, yes. But married, no. For whatever reason, I feel like that’d take the spark out of it, if you will.[/spoil]
Colette Linguini - Yeah, I agree. [spoil]They seem better as…extremely close companions than a couple. Eheh. [/spoil]

Mitch: [spoil]Right, because Colette is what you’d call a “modern woman”, and so I feel she wouldn’t want anything too traditional between them. And Linguini would probably go with whatever she wants, so it fits[/spoil]. heh. There’s my theory. I’ve thought about this waaayyy too much…
Colette Linguini - Thinking is good, dude.
[spoil]Yeah, exactly! Colette has lived on her own and has stood up for herself for so long that it would seem rather weird for her to just…suddenly jump into the pool and marry Linguini on the spot. She’d have to give it some time and thought, and even then they may never hook up for good. The fact that she sticks with him through thick and thin pretty much explains their love for one another in a very tender nutshell without going “overboard”. Eheh.[/spoil]
