I don’t think they are “hand made”, I think they developed a program that makes the first image from the search on Google of, for example, Cars into text with different colors, what program exactly, I don’t know, but maybe you can find out if you right click and view source.
Yes, Toogle is a colour ASCII text generator than mainly uses Google Images for their image results.
By the way, I have a radar in my head that can tell a Wikipedian if I see one, aey023.
