Uh, I didn’t get it.
Maggie - Oh my gosh…
Eheh. Nevermind. Forget about it! You heard nothing!
Mitch - Uhh, OK… Now I’m kinda confused, but…
Awesome Maggie! I must say, your webcam shots weren’t all that bad…I have definitely seen worse!
I agree with Gasduude, but a scanner will make all the difference! And Paris sounds like it will be fun, Maggie!
I didn’t mind the shots with the webcam, but a scanner will make things nicer! I’m so happy for you! :D:D
I know I said I wasn’t going to show any art until I had a scanner, but I wanted to show you my entry to PPdA’s contest:
EDIT, August 17th, 2007: Finally, I’ve got a scanner, and I’m replacing all the images I’ve shown so far. This is the better resolution one:
Title: Summer Love
Now, first of all, I’m really sorry for the terrible quality (stupid webcam! ). Because of that, I’m practically sure I’m not gonna win. At least, I tried!
About this one… it’s Linguini and Colette, on the beach. I did my best coloring the sunset, and I think it turned out pretty good!
You better win this contest, Maggie. That is your best drawing yet, and I mean that with a passion…
Maggie, I must say that it is a really romantic drawing! I love it so much! Collete and Linguini are totally adorable. NIce work you have done.
Wow, nice one Maggie! The sunset is…beautiful.
Aww, thanks to all of you! I didn’t think you were gonna like it because of the terrible quality! hugs everyone
By the way, here’s a little close-up, that I simply love:
Well the quality ain’t great, but we can still tell it looks great!
Love the close-up, as well.
How ronmantic, Maggie! they both look so adorable! Me love it.
Finally, after so much time waiting… after so much time suffering… I HAVE A SCANNER!!!
Well, first of all, I’m going to announce that I’m going to replace every single one of the images that I’ve shown so far.
Second, NEW ART!
This is an art collaboration I’m making with sharpie. I did the lineart and she’s gonna do the coloring.

About this one, I’m really proud of the way Colette’s body and hair turned out (even though her hair is a bit too long… ^^; ).
And another one… remember when I said I was going to draw Linguini and his Incredibles boxers? Here it is!
Link
I think this one is ridiculous, but… oh well!
For now, that’s just it. I have a lot to scan into the computer!
EDIT: I just finished replacing all the images, or, at least, practically all.
Haha, the first one made me LOL.
Good ones, Maggie. You captured their form very nicely.
Wow Maggie, ou draw really, really well! I really like the way you draw Collete. It looks almost like the movie. I also think the TI boxesr you drew on Linguini was pretty cool and clever. Nice work!
Dang! Your anatomy skills are definitely improving, Maggie! Great job on both pieces.
Oh, and congratulations on (finally) getting a scanner!
– Mitch
Maggie- As Mitch said, your anatomy skills really have improved! Everything looks really in proportion and the lineart is clear and concise, with just the right amount of detail. The second sketch is very funny- loving the boxers! Neatening this one in the same way you did the first one would be a great idea. And the look on Linguini’s face in the second one is just priceless!
Geez, I almost forgot I had this thread…
Anyways, thank you all for the nice compliments, specially the ones regarding the anatomy!
I forgot to show this one:

Please ignore the I-don’t-know-what that is jumping off the pot, the hand that is holding the pot and the toque… Those are the things I’m not satisfied with.
But other than that, I think he looks cute! For me, Linguini always looks cute.
Quite cute, Maggie, as always! The thing that is "umping off of the pot almost looks like a potato chip pancake, but it’s distinct enough that the viewer gets an idea of what it is. Heheh.
Nice job, Maggie!
