Meet the Robinsons

Oh, so a “B”? Wow, I really got to see

this! How was it compared to Chicken Little?

And yes, Ratatouille is gonna

win! :stuck_out_tongue:

I am just asking if you guys think it can get nominated.

It is to early to say winners now. Is the Robinsons movie good enough to win something big?

I haven’t seen Chicken Little for awhile, but I’d say

it was definately better. A stronger message, more heart… Also, I rembmber not really liking the ending to

Chicken Little. I loved the ending for Meet the Robinsons.

Chicken Little compared to Robinsons. . . Robinsons is way better. I have to

say it. Chicken Little was just wierd. Robinsons had some passion in it.

As long as it was better than CL, I’ll see it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, they take 3 nominations, don’t they? So I’d

say Ratatouille is one, Shrek 3 the other…and maybe

Bee Movie.

It’ll be interesting!

Finally saw it in 3-D on Easter

Sunday. I think Robinsons has probably become one of my favorite animated films next to Incredibles and Lion

King. Once the DVD comes out, I think it’s going to be just like one of my favorite gags on Invader

Zim.

Zim(mockingly): I’m gonna watch it again.
brief pause
Gir: I’M GONNA WATCH IT AGAIN!

Dash and I believe

Meet The Robinsons could be nominated for Best Adapted

Screenplay. :sunglasses:

Say it loud,

say it proud! (snigger)

Seems like there’s no doubt that it will get nominated, as good as it was. As for

Chicken Little, there is definitely no competition at

all: Chicken Little gets an F- in my book, and that’s not even being harsh.

:stuck_out_tongue:

And I agree with Dash on Meet the Robinsons

possibly earning a “Best Adapted Screenplay” title.

You could be right PV. I thought it was an

original move until I saw “Based on the Book The Adventures of WIlbur Robinson” part in the

credits.

I have to say, there are a lot of fun characters, but I think my favorite will have to be (I

think her name is) Fannie.

The book is titled

A Day With Wilbur Robinson, and Wilbur’s mom’s name is Franny.

Okay your majasty. I am sorry for messing up again. Franny and A Day with Wilbur

Robinson.

Anyways, I think I also like Goob. I just felt so sorry for him and what he had to go through.

My mouth dropped in his final scene [spoil]with a uncheck box marked with a single question

mark.[/spoil]

The Star Swordsman - On the spoiler thing: I can’t believe that I didn’t get that

the first time I saw it. Took me at least five minutes to figure it out… :stuck_out_tongue:

But yeah – poor Goob. I

remember when I first saw some concept art for him in the The Art of Meet the

Robinsons book; I thought, “Heh – what an endearing little character.” Amazing how much

emotion one can release from a character in just a couple of drawings…

The first time I saw

him, I was like, “aww, he is so adorable!” and for Franny, I was like "okay, she reminds me of

another cross between HHelen and Violet Parr.

Hey now… I just like to keep the facts straight.

Hey PV, I

was just kidding ya. No hard feelings. I just watched the movie once and it was late. I couldn’t remember

all the details. Sorry about that.

Ohh. Heheh. I couldn’t

tell. Type is hard to decipher sometimes, know what I mean?

Since I am

here right now, I’ll say that my absolute favorite scenes has to be the dinosaur fight between the Robinsons and

the t-rex.

The Star

Swordsman - Yeah, that was pretty cool. Who knew that Tiny could be as mean as he was when he had

that hat on? I’m rather pleased that they gave him real dinosaur mannerisms in the beginning instead of a

playful puppy dog personality that he exhibited later on, though. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for my favorite scene, it has to

be the very end…

[spoil]…when Lewis sees his true mother for the second

time.[/spoil]

Such heartfelt emotion in that scene…

I agree. that was a sad moment. I was hoping he would do it, but i think he

made the right choice.

Umm,

Mitch, he was Lewis. [spoil]Wilbur was the

one who promised he’d take him to see him mom.[/spoil]
