You’re welcome MItch!
Mitch - Heheh. I thought that was where the pose is from. He looks really cute there. Can’t wait to see more from you. And, you’re welcome!
The Star Swordsman and rachel - Thank you very much, guys!
Linguini:
Yvette:
1) The Linguini drawing was done for sharpie for her birthday. Although I rendered it in Photoshop, Linguini’s profile looked a tad bit more believable before I messed with it.
2) Yvette is my “fursona” and, as I recently decided, an OC character from Ratatouille. One of four rascally, adolescent rats in the “Quidnunc”* gang (a fictional and sub-clan within Django’s enlarged “mob”), her favorite activites include causing mischief whenever possible while still retaining a favorable and sentimental personality in the process. I call her my “fursona” for a reason… (snigger)
For more information about Yvette, please feel free to access the very picure of her that you see above on my deviantArt page.

* The term “quidnunc” literally means “meddler”.
Excellent Linguini drawing there Mitch. I have to admit that he looks really boyish, but still very cute.
Your Yvette drawing looks quite spectactular! For some reason he reminds me of a character from Lion King.
But overall, excellent work Mitch.
I love that interpretation of Linguini… sharpie better like it.
And Yvette looks like she could fit right into Django’s clan. Heheh. She has a really cool personality, too and I bet she would get along with Remy since she likes to cause mischief, as does Remy.
The Star Swordsman - Haha. “Boyish”. Yes, I suppose that I did make his face a little too round in that particular “portrait” of Linguini, but practice makes perfect. (snigger)
As for Yvette, she is actually a…she. Heheh. No worries, though!
Thank you very much for the comments, dude.
rachel - Oh yeah, sharpie loved it. (snigger)
Cha, Yvette is a bit of a trouble-maker. When I have the time, I’m going to sketch out the designs for the other three members of the “Quidnunc” group.
Thank you very much for the compliments, sharpie!

Mitch- I really like that Linguini drawing! It’s very sketchy, yet it really works. And, for some reason, his hair reminds me of Charlie Brown.
Yvette looks lovely also. The paw nearest us needs a little work to look not so spread out, but I love the colours you’ve used and the soft smile on her face.
lizardgirl - Thank you very much for the comments and critique! I’ll be sure to fix that “paw” problem next time around.
Hey, yeah! I’m a Peanuts artist!
– Mitch
Ha ha, totally welcome Mitch. Can’t wait for your next work!
The Star Swordsman - Thank you very much, dude.
My Mom’s Artwork:
My mom and I took to drawing the various, traditionally-animated rats that appear at the end of Ratatouille in both pencil and pen (mostly pen). Since I hated the way that my drawings turned out, I decided to only post hers, so all of the credit for the drawings above go to my mom. (She thinks that she’s no good at art. Puh. Yeah, right…)

Oh cool. Talent does run in the family, doesn’t it?
I love the first sketch the best. It looks like your mum could have worked with the rat-a-2-D team, or something. And the last picture looks like something you would have drawn…
Really good drawings, Mitch’s mum!
Dude, when I first saw this, I was like, holy wow, I thought you or your dad drew it. Your mom is a really great artist.
rachel - Much obliged! I’ll pass on the kind regards to my mom…
The Star Swordsman - Puh-ha! Yep, my dad isn’t the only one in the family with talent. (snigger)
Thank you!
Interesting Mom Info:
- Worked at Don Bluth Studios on The Secret of NIHM
- Did some in-between animation for Crest Animation’s The Swan Princess and Warner Bros.’ Space Jam
- Began her career in animation as a clean-up artist/in-betweener at Hannah-Barbera
So yeah. She’s worked on Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, Superfriends – pretty much all of the bad productions, except for The Secret of NIHM. (snigger) Still, it’s pretty cool!

You are welcome Mitch. Can’t wait for more.
“Wow, Mitch! You’re updating this dinosaur of a thread? What kind of a fool are you…?” (snigger)
Yes, I still live. However, due to the fact that schoolwork and a number of other things have invaded my once peaceful existance, I have neglected to update this particular thread on a regular basis. Of course, my disappearance is not in vain, for I have been busy drawing day and night, night and day, and, for the most part, 24/7. A majority of those sketches are not Pixar-related, although I did do a little something just recently that features a very disgruntled-looking Remy. Voila’:
This particular composition was done, not only for kicks, but also for the Pixar Planet dA Easter Contest which began on the 2nd day of this month. The same drawing is featured on my main deviantArt page, as well.
Enjoy!
– Mitch
Very cute, Mitch! Well done. The line above the eyes gives him that disgruntled look very effectively.
Sheila
Colette Linguini - Ha-ha. Yeah, you can thank my mom and dad for showing me that handy trick.
Thank you!
– Mitch
Awww, it looks so adorable Mitch. I really love it. Very nice. keep it up.
Haven’t been to this bit in awhile…seems bad on my end…over 1000 posts 0_o
Seems artistry runs in your family Mitch! Great work on Linguini, the rats, and I loved Remy in that outfit tah ^0^ Great look ^0^ Could do bits of Remy on each important holiday…wonder if Remy’s nose can glow ha ^0^
The Star Swordsman and Nexas - Ha-ha. Thank you very much, guys!
Use the Force, Remy!
Django: “Remy, I am your father!!!”
Remy: “Cha. I know, dad.”
Django: Oh… Wait, what??!"
