You are wlcome Mitch. Keep it up.
Yay! Ham is my favorite character from Toy Story and Remy
is so cute.
Thanks, guys!
Ok, I know we’re both animators, but what are the odds of my dad having
the exact same picture of Remy in his head that I had in my head some time
back…?

Coindicence? You be the judge. The only difference is that my drawing
of Remy doesn’t involve the little rascal driving a BMW, but that just goes to prove that dad has had more
experience is is hilariously funny when it comes to these things. I even have the
same drawing style as my dad in some of my pictures! Guess that makes sense, though. (snigger)
I am going to have a Bob Parr & Lucius Best moment
right now.
Remy is just too cool for words.
Yep, I told ya. But other
than that, Incredible job. I can’t wait to see more.
Haha. I like your dad’s drawing.
You are so lucky to
have a family member who can help guide you in this field of work.
~~=oP
Wow, they are pretty
similar! Both are very, very cool.
Heheh –
thanks, guys! Yeah, I watch dad draw every chance I get. One of these days…I’ll be able to draw as good as
him; too bad it takes practically forever. (snigger)
The Star Swordsman -
Since you mentioned Lucius Best (and because I think he is one of the coolest supers out there – no pun
intended), I think I’ll draw him for you.
Those drawings are amazing, Remy looks incredibly cool! Good job, Mitch (and
your dad)!
Yeah, I
wish I could have at least one member of my family working on that kind of stuff…
Maggie - Heheh – thank you! And I’m sure dad would appreciate it, too.
Aww – don’t be sad. Just think: If you decide to into the animation field you’ll have to study the art
of it in college and the like, and you’ll get plenty of help then.
I guess you’re right, Mitch…
Thanks for
cheering me up! hugs
Maggie - Aww – no problem. hugs
I
was practicing shading some time ago. My mom’s drawing is on the top and mine is on
the bottom. I’m no Michaelangelo, but I’m not exactly still in the ameature department either. Hmm… Yeah, I
definitely need more practice. Heheh.
Sorry the picture is rather light. It sure looked alot darker on the paper…
I really like this remy pic. It is so cute. You are really good. Please draw more.
Aww, it looks cute, as always!
Keep it up, Mitch!
What do you plan to draw next Mitch? I am curious already.
Your Remy sketch below your mom’s is the best you’ve
done, Mitch.
Is your mom in the biz, too? She appears to have just as
much talent as your dad.
~~=oP
Maggie - Heheh – thank you!
The Star Swordsman - Much obliged, sir. Much obliged, indeed!
I
just finished up another stylized-looking Remy sketch; I’ll submit that one for you all to see along with a
drawing of Frozone when I complete him, too. I know, I know – I said I’d do Tippy
next but…things kinda changed. (snigger) I’ll still do her, though!
PixarVixen - Seriously? Well, thank you! I didn’t think it was that good –
the proportions are all off.
Oh yeah, mom has been in the animation business almost as long as dad
has. As an assistant animator, she’s worked for Don Bluth Studios, Hannah-Barberra, and more. Some of her work
can be seen in The Swan Princess (clean up work; the part where Speed the turtle
climbs down into the pond to face the alligators) and Space Jam (clean up work; some
of the basketball sequences involving the Monstars), as well.
I was going to
be a zoologist but…I decided to carry on the animation tradition instead.
Well, two more human
characters. I can not wait for this. Especially Frozone. And ofcourse, who could forget one of the cutest
characters in Pixar shorts: Tippy. I can’t wait.
That’s funny, I wanted to be a marine biologist before moving to animation!
What
will you draw next?
Bill: Well, she did say she was working on Frozone and
Tippy next.
