Mitch- Remy looks amazing! His bulging eyes are so, so sweet, and
and his paws are perfect. The folds in his ears are gorgeous, and have that slight fluffiness about them, just
like a real rat!
Wall-E looks amazing, as well. Those eyes…! And yeah, mechanical objects are usually
very difficult to draw, but the proportions look good and the shading words well. The only thing I would
recommend is having some areas of a much lighter tone, for contrast.
Two really, really good drawings!

Pixfan - Thanks, dude!
lizardgirl - Thank you very much,
lizardgirl! I also thank you for the critique. You seem to be one of the only people
on here (besides PV, Haunt, and
Pixfan) who actually takes the time to pin-point various mistakes and the like in
sketches.
On the Remy drawing: The ears have a “fluffiness” aspect to them?? (*Checks
drawing…*) Oh yeah… Heh. How funny. I made them fuzzy and didn’t even realize it! (snigger)
As for
WALL-E: Exactly! I knew I should have made certain parts lighter. I’ll remember
that the next time I draw him.
I also wanted to make the eyes look authentic. I started to draw the body
first, but then I erased it and said to myself, "No no no. Start with the most important part of the body
first…". Voila’!
Again, thank you all very much for the compliments and advice!
Ah,they both are so good! Remy is
adorable, WALLE is cute! NIce work!
Your WALL-E sketch is well done overall. The garbage
cube looks a little wierd though.
The Remy sketch is adorable!

The Star Swordsman - Thank
you!
sharpie Haha. Stupid cube. I didn’t want to take the
time to “polish it up”, so I just thought, “What the heck?”, and
made it a box instead. Ya’ can’t blame me, though. I was tired. I’d just spent about an hour and a half on the
drawing alone.
Thanks for the comment, though!
Mitch: You are really welcome my friend. Can’t wait
to see another one.
Mitch- Not a problem!
And yeah, there is a very, very slight fluffiness on Remy’s ears, especially the left one! It’s something my
old art teacher would’ve called a ‘happy accident’.

lizardgirl - Haha! A “happy accident”. That’s funny.
Linguini is next. He’s coming out…ok.
Sweet! I can’t wait for him. But knowing you, you will amaze us again no matter how
okay you think it is.
Awww WALL-E looks so cute!!! I can’t wait for linguini I swear im his 1# fan,
I am obsessed with him along with cars(and of course luigi and guido)

Aww. Wall.E is so cute. You
captured his big eyes pretty well. =)
Do you have the Art of Ratatouille book already,
Mitch?

The Star Swordsman - Well,

luigiandguidofanatic4life - Heheh – thanks!
rachel - Thanks!
And yep – I bought the "Art of

You are welcome mitch. Can’t wait for more.

Oh cool. The book isn’t out here yet, I don’t think. I wouldn’t want to read it before I
saw the movie anyway, but I will totally buy it after.
Carry on…

And just for kicks:
What Linguini Might Look Like if He Were a

r
I’m not all that pleased with how the human version of Linguini turned out, but I
suppose it could always be worse, right?
Truth be told, I love the second drawing alot more than the
first. I just started to draw a rat…before I thought, “Hey. What if Linguini…was a rat?” I’ll be
honest and say that I think it turned out kinda cute.

Very cute, they’re wonderful!
I love how they came out! The Linguini one made me lol.
That’s cute, I like how Linguini Might Look Like if He Were a Rat one, nice job
Mitch!!!
Ahh, Linguiniiii! <3 I knew you wouldn’t let us down, Mitch! (us=Linguini
fans! )
I absolutely love the first one. Linguini’s smile and pose are really cute, but I feel that
there’s something wrong with his right ear…? Hey, you want me to critic, I’m doing it, but it doesn’t mean I
don’t like it!
And Linguini in his rat form… is so
cute! I like the way you put in his human characteristics into his rat form, you
know what I mean? Like the “hair” and the big nose…
They both look amazing! If you submit
them to dA, it’s going to be instant “favoriting”!

Haha. Thanks, guys!
Maggie - Yeah, I know. The pointy ears kind of make
him look like an elf, but that just goes to show that I need more practice! Don’t worry about the critique,
because I want 'em! Throw 'em at me! The more judgemental replies I receive on my drawings the better. My goal
is to improve.
And yep – I added Linguini’s human features to his “ratty”
counterpart/form, since it only makes perfect sense. I might post the “Linguini as a Rat” picture up on
dA, but I don’t know about the first one. I’ll think about it. Keep an eye out, in any case!
Thanks
again, guys!
