Mitch's Art

TS2, bright dot-dasher, and The Star Swordsman - Thank you very much, guys!

Dissatisfaction:

I shall proceed to quote Han Solo…

“I feel terrible…”

(sigh)

Awww, he his just too adorable for words MItch. Very nicely done. I love the eyes.

I felt the emotion in there, the expression tells a lot. Good job, Mitch!

Eheheh. Well, thanks, guys.

– Mitch

Yup, definitely got the sad expression down pat there, Mitch. Love the slight furriness, too.

How old are you?

Oh wow…amazing work! I’ve seen most of it at deviant-art though…I love your Ratatouille sketches

-Kim

lizardgirl - Heheh. Thanks, lizardgirl. I was feeling terrible that day so it all pored out onto the paper.

Vortex - I recently turned nineteen on the twenty-eighth of July.

Ragdollcorpse - Gee, thank you very much! Your stuff is awesome, too. I love your Horton Hears a Who! artwork.

Storyboard Test - Ratatouille:

It sucks, but I was just doing a scratch test. I promised myself that I will practice doing storyboards every day now until I get good at it. Naturally, I chose Ratatouille to be my “test subject” of choice for the first stage of the operation. (snigger)

Oh, my mom drew the roof in the left panel, by the way.

For more information about this sketch, please refer to its deviantArt page… which may be located here: Storyboard Test - Ratatouille

Those are very good, Mitch! The sense of movement in the top picture is fluid and convincing, and I love the expression on their faces, especially Emile’s. The storyboard is good too- you’re able to map out the scene using enough detail to convey what you want to, but without overdoing it.

YES!!! That’s what I was going for: fluidity! punches fist in the air

Ha-ha. I’m surprised that you like Emile’s expression. It scares me. Well, at least I conveyed what I wanted to convey! Maybe someone from Pixar will see this and hire me. (snigger)

Thank you very much, lizardgirl!

Nice Mitch

I particularly love the Remy in the right panel. There’s a sense of excitement in his face, just like in the movie. Actually this just made me want to see Ratatouille again.
“We dont want to throw this in with the garbage ! This is special…”

Archibald - Thank you very much, sir! I’m glad that you like the second panel (on the right). It was difficult to pull that shot off, so I’m much obliged for your input.

Are you serious?! Man, I’m… I’m ecstatic…

– Mitch

You really did a fabulous job with this storyboard skecth Mitch. The faciall expressions look too cool.

Oh my goodness, Mitch, splendid job! :astonished: The expressions on their faces are really believable as well as adorable. You did an excellent job on this.

Like I said at dA, you did a great job. The characters look so incredibly animated, it’s insane

The Star Swordsman, bright dot-dasher, and Ragdollcorpse - Gee, thanks, guys! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

You’re welcome Mitch!

The facial expressions are great Mitch, looks just like the movie !

Pixar.rocks - Thanks!

All right, I want your honest opinion here, The Star Swordsman. I practiced drawing Tony Rydinger last night and came up with this:

Tony Rydinger

I know that you wanted me to serve up a couple of compositions for you featuring Violet Parr and “Tony the Loaf”, so I’m attempting to get into the hang of getting Tony’s anatomy right. What do you think of this scratch drawing? Is it decent enough? Does the style suit you? I want it to look good for your music video.

Also, I’ve been meaning to ask you something else…

If it’s all right with you, I’m going to do two drawings: One of Violet Parr by herself, and one of Violet and Tony together. I was wondering: What positions would you like me to place each character in in both drawings? Would you like Violet to look shy or undecided in the first drawing? What type of setting would you like Violet and Tony to be in in the second sketch? Is color all right, or would you prefer black-and-white?

Just curious. I’m not exactly sure what you want, so I thought I’d ask first.
