I just thought of another one:
If a villian holds a weapon to a woman’s head/throat, and says "…blah blah blah, or
the girl gets it!", it is more than likely that the woman will not be shot/cut/wounded.

About “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”…
I think the
“Can’t Die” rule shouldn’t really apply to kids… because although there are many cases where when
the kid is the main character they will always get out of tight situations, there are also many incidents where
the kid dies because a kid dying is an ultimate emotional high. For "The Sisterhood of the Traveling
Pants", the movie (and book) is about the growth of this group of girls and if you think about it it was
kind of necessary for Bailey to die in the end to really bring impact on Tibby’s life.
So rather, if you
are the main character AND a kid, you can’t die.
Except for those darn Haley Joel Osment movies. He
always dies. Drives me crazy…
Btw (off topic warning), have you read the Traveling Pants books? I just
read the 4th a week ago… I gotta say… although I love the series… I think it starts going downhill from the
3rd and on.
I found another goof about the "Can’t Die
Rule". It is in amovie called “Magnifico”. A young 7-year-old boy’s grandmother is dying. He is a
poor boy and has no money to buy her a coffin or a place to bury her. So he saves some of his birthday money and
extra cash. He even build the cofin for her. In the end, he gets killed in a car accident, and everything that he
saved and made, was used for himself.
And, though it’s not a full-length
movie, the little match-girl dies in the end of her short film, too. Perhaps the “Can’t Die” rule
indeed shouldn’t apply to kids.
Yeah, I made my sister take me to Borders the
morning it came out so I could buy it. I stayed up until 3 am so I could finish it. I really enjoyed each and
every book, but for the sake of on-topic-ness, that’s all I’ll say - unless people are interested in splitting
off a Sisterhood topic.
Wow , that’s alot of reading .
How about
this one :
I Hate You , I Love You
If You didn’t like the main
character at first because they thought you were “the one” in the beginning or you thought they were
and then you saw their face , you probably will be “the one” .
Movies :
Cars(Sally’s View) , A Bug’s Life(i think)
,Shrek ,
If I Want Him to Love Me … He
Will
If you love somebody in the beginning , you’ll either a.)become a couple , b.) get
married , or c.) be together forever
Movies: Cars(Lightning’s view) ,
The Incredibles , Toy Story
He’ll
Be More Than A Friend
If he/she’s your only friend in the opposite gender , you’ll be a
couple by the end of the movie .
Movies : Too Many To Say !
