Sounds like
me at age 3. I never had patience for films. Iād either leave the room a lot or play with my toys in front of
the TV and glance at the screen occasionally.
Itās a lot to expect a kid to sit in front of a movie silently
for an hour or so. Unless itās in a theatre. That either mesmorizes them or puts them to sleep, or if itās a
restless little booger like my cousins theyāll scream and try to run up and down the aisles. ^^;
That,
and, as much as I love Cars ā¦ itās not as exciting and funny and eye-catching for a young child. Doesnāt seem
the type for me to watch as a kid. Then again, I was always bouncing off the walls once someone started to sing,
and thankfully the cars do not sing. ^^
Iāll try watching it with him again in the future but not now as it just upsets him. Might
try him on Nemo again- he used to love that.
If not, luckily for me, I never get bored watching the
Incrediblesā¦
or Pinnoccioā¦or Spongebob the Movieā¦or Thomasā¦
I hope your son gets over his
little phobia. If not, then my suggestion is wait until he is a little older and much more braver.
Indeed. Heās a tough little character (reminds me a bit of Dash!!) not afraid
of very much and always getting into scrapes around the house- itās just this one thing seems to freak him
out!
If not, maybe study your son a bit. Find out what is it
that he really is scared about in cars, then you can do one of two things. Skip that part, or channel his fear to
a minimun so the next time he watches it, he wonāt be so afraid.

Thatās wierd. Try asking him why he will not watch it. Or you could save the DVD for when heās older.
I just burst out laughingā¦I dunno why that seems so funny to meā¦the Delinquents are all glowering at me

I canāt see how anyone can fall asleep during that part, unless bass-heavy rap music puts ya to sleepā¦

The music DJ played before that was awesome.
Not to get too off topic but do you guys realize the person who posted this did so in February.
Not that thereās any problem with that, but itās starnge it resurfaced.
I think threads die down and resurface like thisā¦
What I meant is that she (the author) hasnāt posted since, so this post is kinda irrelevant. Iām surprised it hasnāt been archived yet.

I was in a waiting room and Cars was playing and i saw this kid he left the room when Doc came on. XD
Oh boy, poor kid. Was he like afraid of him or something?
I heard that most boys got tired of the romance.
JK. Maybe he thought it was a little boring. I also heard little boys didnāt like that.
My little cousin Ian loves it. He watches it all the time, but he still canāt seem to remember who Sally isā¦
Hi everyone! Its been AGES since I posted here, but on the subject of my thread; my boy HAS now watched Cars!!! He asked me to skip the tractor tipping/ combine harvester scene, but pretty much watched it all the way through! Soon as the film finished he was up in his room with his Cars models (after a year of nothing but Lego).
This is great news for me as I am becoming a Pixar junkie. Ratatouille is now my favourite Blu-Ray disc (you have to see Pixar on Bluray!). I have also reappraised Cars (didnāt rate it that much before) and like it a lot more now. Still not Pixarās best, but 100% better than any animated movie by any other studio.
The other great news is we took him to the theatre (his first time ever) to see Wall-E! He loves it!!!
Almost as much as I do.
