gottalovepixar - Yeah, I guess so. Perhaps it is just that “gender”
thing… (snigger)
JV - Yep – I was puzzled for a second there, too, until
I remembered Home on the Range. And isn’t it interesting that they guy who did the
voice for Randall – Steve Buscemi – also did the voice for Mr. Wesley. Weird, huh?

Thanks!

You’re very welcome.
Cruel indeed… Anyway, I don’t think Pixar would even dare let this happen,
especially after Coral’s tragic death in Finding Nemo
I honestly thought Auguste Gusteau will be one of the good guys in the film.
By the looks of it, it seems like I was mistaken.
So is Brad Garrett voice of Chef Auguste Gusteau?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Brad Garrett’s voicing Auguste Gusteau.
Now that I’ve seen Gusteau’s picture, I can finally figure out why Pixar chose Garrett to provide the chef’s
voice.
mitch : just saw the remy’s mom
gets eaten . to that i say " not another mom ! "
Maybe she gets , in your words mitch ( sort of
) , snapped . ( caught in a mouse trap )
If Brad Garrett uses his deep voice like he did for Dim and Bloat he will sound kinda wired doing
a little guy with a deep voice.
Auguste Gusteau looks like one of Edna Mode?s relatives being short and
all.

CountSolo - Ha – yeah, I always thought that Mr. Gusteau might be a good guy, too.
Alas, look what happens when we predict stuff.
Wow! I haven’t really been following this thread (shame on me ), but I spotted
Mitch’s and JV’s new avatars and was drawn to it. Heehee.
The design of the newly revealed characters
is stupendous. I agree that Emilie holds a striking resemblance to Mirage, and I already think Linguine is
adorable. I tell you, the urge to draw them is rising.

gottalovepixar - Haha – “snapped”. I’m getting goose bumps just
thinking about it. (heheh)
JV - I agree. Brad Garret’s voice seems a
little too deep for the miniature Gusteau. However, I trust Pixar, as they usually seem to know what they’re
doing. Heheh.
PixarVixen - Yes, please do! I would love to see your version
of Linguini.
I, on the other hand, have an urge to draw Ms. Mirage look-a-like: Emilie. Yes, I think I
will…
Is it me, or do Chef Auguste Geateau’s ears look like rat ears?
LOL

PixarVixen - Really? Let me look at that…
Well, whoo-de-doo. You are
absolutely right. Perhaps that was intended. And doesn’t the girl’s (Emilie’s) nose also look sort of like a
rat’s nose? It sure looks that way to me…
Heheh – I love how Pixar puts these little qualities and
traits into their films and characters.
It does look like
rts ears. I guess that is a sign of his his antagonistic traits of his apperence.
According to a friend, Emilie is
not the name of the woman. Her real name is Colette. Emille (E-M-I-L-L-E) is the
name of Remy’s brother. If this is true, then the name “Rollie” is out of the
picture.
~~=oP
Maybe Rollie is just Remy’s best friend and we have yet to see Remy’s brother.

PixarVixen - Is that so? Well…that sure changes things. Does your friend work at
Pixar – because how would he/she know that?
And I always thought that “Rollie” was Remy’s
uncle…but I guess not. We will have to wait and see…
But the
important characters are usually on the book cover, so I guess such an important character (as you see in the
description of the book) just hast to be on the cover.
You have a point there, but the thing is, we don’t know for sure
whether Remy’s brother is more important than Remy’s best friend [within the film’s scope], or vice
versa.
Well, only the important characters are located on the
cover, then isn’t that a little too little for important characters?
Interesting…I was wondering if people were going to play a part in this or just be kinda there but not
important…
