I hope they use authentic Queen recordings, like they did with Walk the Line and Ray. Having the actor sing instead of Freddie, regardless of how well he can sing, would be a real shame and a waste.

I completely agree. I think it’d be pretty difficult playing recording for all of his singing, though…but hey, I’m sure they know more than me. 
It would pretty much ruin the movie for me if Sacha did the singing.
It might bother me a little but i’m sure id love the movie since I am a huge fan of his work.
I haven’t seen any of his signature movies.
^ I think the first movie of his you should check out is Borat then Bruno and Ali G you could skip its one of his weaker efforts.
The only used one authentic Johnny Cash song during the end credits of Walk the Line. The rest of the songs were sung by Joaquin Phoenix and the other actors.

About the whole “teeth” situation–

I find them oddly charming, personally, but I guess they were far from perfect.
He didn’t want them changed because he was worried it’d alter his voice. (Coincidentally, their drummer Roger was a dentist.) Probably a smart choice, all-in-all.
