Oh wow! Least we know why they haven’t been showing up in the trailers even though they are suppose to be in the movie.

this isn’t why, the contest is to dub the characters in another language (if I’m understanding this right). so there’s nothing stopping them from using them, at least in the English trailers.
Kyle: I’m pretty sure she meant that the reason the army men aren’t in the trailers is that they leave Andy’s room and go off and their own early in the story.
Oh I see. still I don’t think they’ll be their only use in the movie.
This made my day. Hopefully, we’ll start seeing clips of RC, Bo Peep, Leeny, and Wheezy (I said hopefully).
Yeah, lol that’s what I meant. Then again we do see them, but on the floor in the first trailer. Other than that and the teaser, we haven’t seen much of them in any scenes till just now.
You know, I just remembered in the original film how Sarge always says “A good soldier never leaves a man behind!”. So what are they doing now then? Looks like leaving Woody and the other toys behind to me. 
The movie’s slogan is “No toy gets left behind”. somehow I think they’ll all be just fine.
I just meant how it seems like the army men are running off on them.
Great find! I can’t believe how fluidly the soldiers move, especially when compared to the first movie.
I hope they get to meet up with Sarge and the rest of the army men later on in the film. Perhaps they’ll help them survive they daycare with all of their specialized and tactical training.
Also, I’m not sure how important this is, but the scene that immediately follows this one is when Rex says “We’re being thrown away?!” .
They can’t let important characters go just like that. In fact, I’d bet on that. I’m guessing they did exit, since they aren’t seen with the main crew later, but I have a strong feeling that they’ll come back when the gang escapes from Sunnyside. If not, they might meet up with Zurg and utility belt Buzz.
