Hm. Well, considering how it’s half a year later, how is your family doing now? Recently, my own cousin had a nasty car wreck (just outside his dad’s dealership!) and had a cut gashing to the skull. Thankfully they were able to stitch it up, but your loss made me think of what could have happened to him.

That sounds really scary . In all honesty, I’d much rather have someone die after they’ve suffered through a lot, like both my great grandparents. While I was sad that they were gone, I also had a “flood” of relief that they didn’t have to prolong their illnesses and be dependent on their daughter (my great aunt) any longer. Dying at 200 sounds down-right sickening and just as sad. Unless you’re a tortuous or something like that…Crush, for example.
