Pixar collection

It’s time to start this thread up again!

Here’s my WALL•E collection. I vowed to not buy as much WALL•E junk as I did with Ratatouille, but I’d still acquire a few things by people giving it to me, or there would be a toy sale and I just couldn’t resist!

(Click each image to enlarge.)

Bag, plush toys, DVD, books.

Popcorn container + drink cup, tissue box, mug, more books, magazine, calendar.

Interaction WALL•E, action figures, PEZ, rubix cube, EVE shooter thing, watch, The Art of WALL•E, postcards, t-shirt.

All of it (except the t-shirt, I forgot to include in this photo.)

If I could add one more thing to that collection it would be the Cuddle ‘n’ Glow plush EVE. Maybe it will come down in price soon. My sister also has the soundtrack, a different WALL•E plush toy, and the Wii video game. I didn’t include them in the photos because it’s not really my stuff.

I’ll post my Ratatouille and Pixar collections sometime in the future. I’d love to see photos of everybody else’s Pixar collections, too, no matter how small. =D

Very impressive WALL-E collection, Rachel! You’ve got a really nice selection of merchandise there. The soft toy EVEs look so cuddly! And what’s that gun type thing? Is it one of those foam guns? And is that a record of the WALL-E soundtrack? If so, that’s very cool.

I’d post a picture of my Pixar merchandise, but it would literally be two Randall toys, and that would be the most fail ‘collection’ ever.

Awesome collection, Rachel! x)

I was going to ask if you wanted one of my watches, but now I see that you have one. I’ve got two or three of those - only my brother and I opened ours.

All I got of Wall-E stuff is the two small figurines currently sitting on my screen (well, Wall-E’s on top of my screen, and Eve is on top of my cd holder with the rest of my things) and a grabber-arm-thingie.

Awesome collection Rachel! I like the Wall-E and Eve Pez!

  1. What do you specialise in?
DVDs, I suppose. I also collect a lot of Disney princess crap (particularly Ariel) and snowglobes.

  2. How often do you add to your collection?
Most of the stuff I own I collected in my sophomore year. I add to it on Christmas, whenever a new Pixar movie comes out, and on trips to Disney World (they always have an amazing selection!).

  3. Where do you find the merchandise?
The Disney Store, miscellaneous websites, local antique/collectible stores, Target/Walmart/etc., Walt Disney World.

  4. What’s the most you’ve spent on one item?
$400 for a gorgeous WDCC Peter Pan figurine. My mom basically bribed me to get a good ACT score, which then made me eligible for more scholarship money at my school.

  5. What’s your most treasured item/s?
Above Peter Pan figurine, my WDCC membership Ariel figurine, and everything really. Even the used McDonald’s toys.

  6. How much do you think you have spent on your collection?
Thousands, but I regret nothing! Basically, whenever I have a lot of extra money, it goes to something Disney.

  7. What’s one thing you would really, really want to have in your collection?
I want to collect more Pixar memorabilia! It would also be nice to have more WDCC figurines and snowglobes.

  8. Where do you find room to keep it all?
I have a few bookcases/shelving units, but I need more! :frowning: See picture.

  9. Do you open your merch or keep it mint in box?
Open them. I’m not the type who would resell my precious collectibles; they’re like my children! I also like to set up everything in chronological order so it’s like I’m bringing the movies to life. It’s inspiring to see them all come together.

  10. What are you planning on doing with all of your stuff?
It’s staying with me. When I settle into my own place soon, I’d like to set it up in a special room devoted to my nerdiness.

  11. Do you want to buy everything of the Pixar film you specialise in, or just some?
Just the best stuff, especially anything that’s designed well and closely resembles the original character. I don’t “specialize” in any Pixar film just yet.

  12. What’s next on your list?
Pixar items. Little toys, The Art of Ratatouille, plushes, figurines, etc. I’m excited for Up toys!

  13. Why do you collect?
The process of searching for items is fun by itself, but I also like collecting figurines of characters as if they’ve come to life.

  14. Pics???
Here’s one from a year ago, but it will have to do for now. Since then, I’ve added some new Pixar items to my little collection. I obviously didn’t include things like plastic dinnerware, bedding, clothing, etc. I’ll post pics of that stuff later.

Some of my Christmas gifts: Sulley plush ($12!!!), M-O cleaning toy, EVE that transforms, and other stuff.

I also have an ultra-adorable Wall-E iDance, but that’s in New York. I didn’t want it to break on the airplane.

Nice merchandise, queen_of_painting! I like the way it’s all laid out. And that last WALL-E toy looks incredible. Does he dance to music or something then?

Yeah, when I plug my iPod into him and play a song, he “dances.” And he talks, too.

I just noticed how Disney-centric my last post here was. Sorry about that! I know Pixar & Disney are separate studios, but I still kind of put them hand-in-hand, you know?

Very nice collection rachelcakes1985!

queen_of_painting, my little brother has a Wall-E iDance too. When it “dances” it looks to me like its having a seizure XP

The only pixar stuff I have are the DVD’s of Wall-E, The Incredibles, and the Pixar shorts. Other than that, I have a few Wall-E stickers. But I wish I had some more Wall-E merchandise sighs.

I just got this in the mail today! I got it for 5 bucks and I even got another sealed game with it. You won’t hear me complain!

Brand new Sealed!

Sega FTW! I vaguely remember playing Toy Story on the Sega, actually… “An intensely 3D experience”, heh.

I’ve got the SNES version on the way to my house.

Sega, NES, SNES… it’s all good. :sunglasses:

I own 2 Toy Story games, and I believe I used to own 4. Currently, I have the SNES game of Toy Story, and the N64 video game of Toy Story 2. I used to have Toy Story Animated Story Book and Activity Center for my PC, but I seemed to have lost them.

we have two games…

Toy Story interactive game for pc…really poor. Only like a winnie the pooh read along book.

and a Toy Story 2 action game…its bad graphical but sweet story and fighting.

So I bought my first piece of Pixar merchandise: a M-O action figure! Other than that I have all the DVDs except for Cars (which I will hopefully be getting soon), the Pixar Shorts Collection in English and Italian and a couple soundtracks (MI and TI) which aren’t pictured. Just a small collection of things at the moment.

MO looks really, really cute on top of the DVDs. Really cool Hannahmation.

Hannahmation - Ha-ha. I take it that M-O helped to clean your DVDs in preparation of the photograph. He looks very proud of himself. (snigger)

I have the exact same toy. That thing comes in handy when you find any stray crumbs hiding in your living room carpet.

– Mitch

Thanks

Yes, MO was very helpful getting the DVDs ready! He’s been an immense help around the apartment.

Hannahmation - Ha-ha! I’m sure he has been.

Holy crap :open_mouth: ! Well, I thought I had a big Incredibles collection. But Dash has left me in the dust, by FAR. I might get some pictures of my collection and post them here one day, when I have the time. It’s not very big, but I can almost promise you, you wont be disappointed  .

The Star Swordsman- I’d love to see your collection. I’m sure it’ll blow me away  .
