Good news everybody, Noruma said in a recent interview that kh 3d will use entirely new Disney Worlds and not reuse any old ones. To make things even better, he said in another interview that he will try to put pixar worlds in the games.
I hope they will!

I will miss the Hercules world and Aladdin. They were fun.
Now, I really wanna Play Kingdom Hearts 3D! I just need to find my dad’s wallet, and I can buy the 3DS when it comes out…
I am not really all that familar with KH except that it uses Disney characters and anime characters- but Monsters Inc with various doors into other universes could be a decent platform in that case in the beginning- they could be used as access to various other Pixar universes, say by finding the various doors to them throughout a large video-game version of the factory. Or various doors which have been taken from there and have to be found in some form as people go through different Pixar movies in order to get to the next level.
That’s a legit idea mentalguru! It would be cool if they did something like that.
I’ve tumbled with the idea of Pixar in Kingdom Hearts. In fact started so in the Fanfiction Section points to Sig, Wall-e is already done and Ratatouille is on the move.
The use of Pixar films in Kingdom Hearts will take time to develop. However…it’ll be a possibility.
For those who have played Kingdom Hearts 2…remember that Pirates of the Caribbean is in it. A VERY interesting, and somewhat surprising, addition to the world ranks. But, it worked well.
Remember this was LIVE ACTION not hand-drawn animation or cartoony, in Disney terms. YET here it is adapted very well to Kingdom Hearts.
To get Pixar-level in there takes some time.
But once they reach it, it will be pretty interesting. And with sequels on the way, or now with, you can expect a sequel to the Kingdom Hearts that DOES feature Pixar films.
As such the creator has noted that this is a mothership title and that this next one, coming up on the DS…
You know pause for a moment. Does ANYBODY know if a 3D DS game can be played on a REGULAR DS lite? I mean honestly, that hasn’t come up before. I mean 3D SHOULD be an option, not a limitation, so hopefully those of us without a DS-3D can still play it.
…anyway. The one for the DS will conclude the Xehanort (misspelled, sure) Saga. Which means…there’s MORE sagas. For all we know, after this DS title, the PIXAR Saga might start up.
shrugs Who knows, maybe there will be an entire game for it. It depends on if there’s enough material. I mean there was…hmm…I think…12/13 worlds in KH2.
I hope they add Pixar to KH3 and that they release it on PS2 so I can get it. Oh, and Nexas, 3DS games will not play on DS’s. They’re specially designed so that they can’t be played on old consoles, but the 3DS is backwards-compatible.
I doubt Pixar worlds will be in KH3, which is on the DS.
As for releasing it on PS2…Square has…well ported several KH stories to different consoles since KH2. Actually before hand there was Chain of Memories but I’ll get back to that (that’s good news). We had one for the DS, one of the PSP, one for the phone…Square went everywhere. Now this KH3 is on the DS, 3-D. Same console, but different version you will have to PAY for…
BUT…But. Good news people in the PS2, of whom I agree with…
Chain of Memories, which is between KH and KH2…was yay…re-released into the PS2 console, 3D graphics and all galore. Now…FIRST it was in Japan for a year or a couple…BUT thankfully the guys at Square brought this home for us. So now KH, COM, and KH2 are all on the PS2. The MAIN games are there…
Now…this means, hopefully that the KH3 on the DS will, in the future, be re-released on the PS2. Of course we all here in America will probably have to wail while those in Japan get first dibs…
But personally, I can wait. Birth By Sleep calls me hehehe.
Of course it doesn’t…sighs Ugh I swear designers…oh well either put up money for that or wait for the RE edition. I know about it being backwards (if it wasn’t, everybody would be yelling about it), but thanks for your insight on the playability.

It was called the next “MAJOR INSTALLMENT” of the series…but Nomura has stated KH3 is still in development…
But this is more good for the PS2 players.
This means that this DS game will sort of be like Chain of Memories. Main to the series, but between two of the singular “Kingdom Hearts” games.
KH - Chain of Memories - KH2 - 3DS Game - KH3
So…well…seems KH3 MAY be the Pixar one. Suppose the KH world will have to “run out of Disney worlds” to get to Pixar first.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Sora got turned into a rat? Or got shrunk down to the size of a toy?
It would certainly be an interesting experience chuckles at the planned thought of Randall as a plushy
But in game-spec…it’s a GREAT way to extend the world. Most things in Remy’s world would take place in the kitchen. To somebody of Sora’s size, it’s easy. But for someone like Remy it is HUGE.
Same applies in Toy story.
Kingdom Hearts areas can be a little small (though the biggest I think is in KH2 in that crystal ravine), but when you think about it, it works out in change-wise. AND magic surrounding Keyblade wielders DOES convert them into forms to better work in the world.
Sure, maybe you can go around big and such like in Alice’s world, but to really get to the rest, your gonna have to be smaller.
Sora would be easy. Now Donald and Goofy as rats? 0_0
Tetsuya Nomura revealed in an interview that the “Sora” in KH3D will not be the person players will grow with; they will grow with a less familiar character.
Tetsuya Nomura has also confirmed that the game will feature a secret movie, and that it will shock fans.
I’m watching the live stream of Nintendo World 2011, waiting for the KH3D trailer If someone posts it on Youtube (which I doubt, since there is no filming around at Nintendo World 2011), I’ll post it here for you guys.
Has anyone played Re: Coded yet? I pre-ordered my copy at Game Stop and my dad went and picked it up today, but he said that they were out of the pre-order bonus that I was supposed to get and that they should have them back in tomorrow. It looks like I’ll be going back to Game Stop this weekend… FOR STICKERS?! Ugh… I am such a nerd. 
You and my best friend would get along so well, she loves video games, and her faforite store is Game Stop.
LOL. Honestly, my mom doesn’t like me buying stuff at Game Stop, because EVERY TIME I get a used game there, it never works! 
I think having a few Pixar movies represented in a Kingdom Hearts game would be great.
I would also like to see a nod to some of Pixar’s short films in KH game too.
Hmm I wonder how Tin toy, Knick knack, and The bird line thing would work… That would be interesting to see how they implement it…
