Pixar on Food Network!

My sister and I watched it last night and we both loved it! I enjoyed the show for its entertaining bits and shots of the studio, and my sister devored the informative content.

I love the tagline for the show itself…

“What you are about to see…is real.”

(snigger)

Haha! Cha, those parts were hilarious… 8D

– Mitch

It had Lou Romano in it?!

rachel - Yeah, he was all over the place. (snigger)

If you’d like, I can attempt to capture a short video (up to 15 seconds) of him with my phone the next time the show airs.

– Mitch

Yeah, that would be sweet, Mitch. :sunglasses: I hope we end up getting that show on our cable network.

rachel - Heheh. I’ll do my best to capture the video…

Yeah, they should show it in your area! T’would save me phone batteries… (snigger)

– Mitch

I love that part. It’s so funny to me because every time the announcer says that, I’m thinking to myself, “It better be, or else I’m just wasting my time!”

I’m gonna try to watch it tonight… 1 AM eh?

…no problem… :sunglasses:
sheila

Technically 1 AM “tonight” is the morning of November 19, which unfortunately means you’ll hafta wait until 10:30 PM on December 9. Sorry, Sheila.

~~=oP

slaps forehead You are right. keeps slapping forehead I knew something was wrong when I got up at one and there was something else on…

Geez, that was stupid of me. I must have been overwrought with homework when I wrote that. haha. Ah well.

I really enjoyed watching that. it was nice to see after coming home from work at 1am. (I do night shipment sometimes guys, dont get any wrong ideas! :stuck_out_tongue: ) I did like 2 lines [spoil]when the host, Robert, said Pixar was a “harder place to get into than Fort Knox” and when the animator was eating the soup and said “this is just as good as I thought it would be when I was animating it” Plus I loved how Robert kept calling Lou Romano “Linguini” That’s totally something I would do![/spoil]

When I was at Target the other day,I ran into my grandmother and aunt, who were trying to find the Ratatouille DVD for my other aunt, who I’m guessing was going to buy it for my cousin-his birthday is coming up.

While I was leading them to the rack with it,they started to talk about the whole Food Network thing! All I can recall them saying was something about the ‘harder place to get into than Fort Knox’ line, and something about Lou Romano.

Can’t believe I missed it! :frowning:

Do you really think that it’s tougher to get into Pixar Animation Studios than Fort Knox? On the Pixar Shorts DVD, they even show you how to get in.

Umm, about the Fort Knox thing, at Pixar you buy tickets that go on sale once or twice a year, for Fort Knox, it’s almost impossible, unless you are very trusted or an employee, you cant even get near the gates, which you CAN do at Pixar.

I hoped yu’d give me the way to get in there! About these tickets…

=O they show you how to get in??? i wanna see

If I had a DVD player on my computer, I’d show you, but unfortunately, I don’t.

Anyway, all you do is:

  1. Go into the main gate, and go forward.
  2. At the next left turn, turn left.
  3. At the next right turn, turn right.
And you’re in the atrium! (I think)

But most poeple don’t get past the gate. However, I’m working on a plan on how to get past the gate without getting noticed. (There’s a non-guarded entrance by the Pixar basketball court)

If you live near Emeryville that would be great. I’d love to be at Emeryville and think of Pixar as my playground. But then I’d always be evading security lol

btw… for people who haven’t seen Dinner: Impossible - Pixar Movie Mission , I can show it to you. I have it uploaded

Heimlich: It’d be great if you could upload it to YouTube so we can all see.

K. I have it uploaded on google video because it’s more than 10 minutes. It’s kinda secret and unlisted so the google people dont take it away! aaah!
Anyways, anyone can watch it. go here
enjoy

That was fun to watch! I love how he kept calling Lou ‘Linguini.’ :stuck_out_tongue:
