Yeah, it’s 7 EDT.
Do you know what time that would be GMT???
No, not really. Sorry.
Wow, that is disappointing. I’ll try to make the next ones to keep you company, yeah?
Perhaps you could use timeanddate.com’s ‘Fixed Time World Clock’ feature to list every cities’ respective times, and post an embedded link, like what I did?
The weekend is almost here once again, and this week we’re gonna do something special!
There’ll be three sessions as usual, but a special one will be organised tomorrow for those who have seen Toy Story 3 and want to discuss it WITH spoilers, since the movie has been out in some territories already.
If the demand is great enough, maybe another session can be changed. But we’ll leave one for NO spoilers.
You’re of course, free to organise your own get-togethers, but be sure to post if you’re going to discuss WITH or WITHOUT spoilers relating to TS3, as some members are still in countries who have not released the movie yet. And be sure to remind any new chat members entering the chatroom of the policy on TS3 spoilers for that session.
Here we go:
Friday, 2 July 2010 at 06:30:00 UTC time (TS3 SPOILERS ALLOWED)
Saturday, 3 July 2010 at 13:00:00 UTC time (TS3 SPOILERS NOT ALLOWED)
Sunday, 4 July 2010 at 00:30:00 UTC time (TS3 SPOILERS NOT ALLOWED)
I’ll remind members on any sessions I attend about the prevailing policy. Meanwhile, you can also suggest alternate timings to me and I can modify accordingly!
Also, would anyone be interested in a PP Movie Night?
I’d be happy to join you guys on the last two, but it’s midnight at my house on the first one so I better pass on that one.
I can definitely make all of them. I hope to see you guys there this time.
I’ll try to make the Sunday one. Then again, that’s what I said for the last two ones. But no one was on last time, so I have an excuse!
Yoyoyo everyone, Chat-O-Rama is now LIVE. And you’re free to discuss Toy Story 3 with spoilers!
Don’t worry, I’ll remind everyone who enters that spoilers will be discussed, so just jump right in and let’s talk about Woody and Buzz’ greatest adventure of all-time!
EDIT Well, the first chat went well. We talked about our favourite characters, the ending, the villain’s nastiness, and lotso-other-things.
We also discussed TV shows, and Pixar/Disney’s stupidity on not releasing a physical copy of the TS3 soundtrack.
We were interrupted prematurely by the Internal Server Error message (Can the admins please look into this? It also happened to me this morning). But it was an enjoyable hour.
I’m not sure if I’ll attend the weekend sessions, but I’ll leave it to you guys to hop on board. If you’re discussing spoilers, make sure to remind newcomers what the policy is! And above all, have fun!
Would somebody care to join me now? I’ll be in the chatroom singing Row Row Row Your Boat or something for a while.
I would love to join you K9, but it’s 1:30AM? I need to go to bed, wait and see who comes.
I’m in the CR right now if anyone else is as bored as me…
Hey guys, all of us are having a LOT of issues in the chat room right now so we in the chat room decided to move to a different server for tonight’s Chat-O-Rama. All mods have operator status.
webchat.freenode.net/?channels=% … net&uio=d4 ← go here to join.
Chat-o-rama has officialy begun! Please everyone join the new chat room!
Is there one TOMORROW night?
Well we could always make there be one! I’m almost always in that chat room, so if you ever want to talk I’ll probably be there. I’ll be there tomorrow night.
Today’s session was a little slow. Members there included Konrad, strawberryavalanche, Flik-E, IncredigirlVirginia, and thedriveintheater. I think that was all of us, actually. There was no more than five members on at one time.
We discussed videogames, videogame movies, a potential movie night in a week or two, and Flik-E showed me his comic. I wish I had the link to his deviantArt page; it is really good!
This chat session was unique because we used a special IRC channel created by Konrad. All of us were having trouble in the Planateer Lounge. I stayed in the lounge to direct people to the IRC channel, but only one entered.
If you’re using Internet Explorer of Firefox, you can always look back in History for the pages you visited and then drag the links from the address bar onto your desktop.
I tried that; it didn’t work.
You should post the link here!
