So they’ve sent out rejection letters for Art (I got one), and look at this. The titles of Art and Animation changed to Creative Intern (number of positions out of total positions). So it looks like they are making final decisions, and that at least they know how many there will be. Oh, and I’m not actually applying for all the positions on here; there was a time when I thought the only way to log on was to apply for a new position…oops.
Hi guys! I’m new here, but I was hearing that people were getting rejection emails for marketing. I applied for Publicity, which I thought would come out around the same time as marketing but I have yet to hear anything. Do you know if anyone has heard anything from Publicity or have they just not gotten around to it yet?
Sorry, I jumped right to speculation, but I’m really sorry Slambert, LittleTomo, townclouds, and paint1ingpics. Keep doing what you do, because I bet you are all great at it. I’ll probably be joining the rejection wagon pretty soon too, but I’m sure we’ll all have fantastic summers and careers, no matter where we all are.
Wow that’s really interesting! So then is that the total number of ‘creatives’ they’re interning? 36 (adding them all up) sounds like a lot for pixar, but they are getting bigger too so idk haha.
Btw hey guys nice to see/meet all of you from last year. Sorry I haven’t posted i don’t look on here until early may because otherwise I end up doing it every day haha. Congrats and it’s okays for those who got interviews and rejection letters. I only applied to Disney this year (just missed the pixar deadline and still kicking myself haha) but I’ve never gotten any confirmation from them rejection letter or not. Ps I thought it was pretty interesting that they required letters of recommendation this year, I guess it weeds out the field a little for them haha.
Philosophicalguy, I was thinking more like there were 18 total “Creative Interns” (whatever that means, maybe Animation, Art, Story, Post Production?) and that one of them was in art, three in animation, and 14 somewhere else…but I like your interpretation WAY better and am really hoping I’m wrong!
I haven’t heard anything from Disney. Didn’t realize the letters were new–you’d think they would want fewer things to look at, not more!
