It’s a phony Spanish word meaning “pixel-making”.
To late, A113 got the answer.
Well, lets wait for rachel to confirm it before A113 asks the next question.
A113- Actually it means ‘To make pictures’.
The question was: Where did the name Pixar originate from?
So the answer would be from Alvy Ray Smith’s imagination, he made it up as a fake Spanish word. But i guess A113 gets it since he was really close.
As far as I know “Pixer” means to work with pixels (I didn’t know it wasn’t a real word, though), but they changed it to “Pixar” because it looked better. I haven’t read To Infinity and Beyond in a while, so I hope that answer’s right.
Your turn, A113! =)
mwahahahaha…
Make an acronym from the following list to answer the question:
An “evil” island in the Pacific
The moving company in Toy Story and Toy Story 2
The name of the bike shop in Red’s Dream
The last name of the director of Toy Story 3
The leader of an ant colony
Sally’s last name
Syndrome’s female assistant
What is the number of (the above acronym spelled backwards)?
Took me a while to get the acronym, but the number is 95 for Mcqueen.
