Pixaria II!

Well, then I believe Al-Bob can go again.

Can I jump in?
When was Pixar founded, and when was its IPO?

1984 as Lucasfilm Graphics, and 1986 as Pixar. :sunglasses:

Sorry, A113, that’s incorrect.
Lucasfilm’s Graphics Group was founded in '79, and “Pixar” was founded in 1986. For this question you have to name exact dates for it’s founding in '86 and its initial public offering date roughly a decade later.

I know the 1986 one was in November sometime… (I think.)

Ok… no one’s gonna get it…
Pixar was founded on February 3rd, 1986.
Then it went public on November 29th, 1995.
You can go Rachel.

But I was way off the mark… But ok, I’ll go. =)

Name three reasons why Pixar makes short films.

Sorry, I had to answer:
To test out new directors.
To try out new methods in storytelling, CGI, animation, etc.
To accompany their films a la Old Disney.

Correct! Your turn, Martin. =)

Let’s try an easier one:
Name Pixar’s 3 locations (city) from 1986 to 2008.
P.S. Whoever gets it, save the character clues questions for the Name that Pixar Character thread.

Los Angeles, Richmond, Emeryville

Close, but LA is not one of them, A113.

Richmond, Marin, Emeryville?

Metroville, Sydney and Paris.

Sorry you guys, try again.
qxgnxamy: Pt. Richmond, yes, Emeryville, of course, Marin, close, but that’s the county,
azzstar: You wish. :stuck_out_tongue:
They’re all in the SF Bay Area…

This is quite hard. Is it Emeryville, Richmond and Alameda??

I’ll just give it to you… San Rafael, Point Richmond, and of course, Emeryville all in California!

So do I get the next Question?

It seems like it azzstar. Go on ahead.

Martin, your questions are always too hard! :stuck_out_tongue:
