As for Violet, I figured her force field capabilities were pretty versatile, so I decided to only put the orbs around her hands as opposed to the popular concept of around her entire body. Guess it was just preference at the time.
About Dash, yea I definitely agree now that I sit back and really think about it. But all in all I kinda just went with the flow on this one. Like I said, I had the concept of this one in my head (and poorly drawn out) since last year. In a rush to just get this finally put together , I decided not to change anything from the original design. I will take that into consideration for next time though.
And thanx! I’ve been really trying to work on and experiment with my coloring techniques, and it looks like I’m finally catching on!
Haha, yea you and plenty others. It’s just that right now I’ve been on this Super’s phase, and I’m finally liking what I’m seeing. I got a few more Incredibles related works to get outta my system, but I’ll be shaking things up again real soon…

Though stepping out the comfort zone is not really my thing, I enjoyed taking on the challenge…I repeat, THIS WAS A REQUEST. (So don’t ask me any questions regarding the motive behind this…0_o
Yep, Looks like I’ve managed to lapse again…Pretty much the same ol story (school,work…etc.)
But like I’ve constantly explained I’m in the middle of a quest for a new comp (I declared my old one RIP since it’s a little over 5 years old already, and it was only a matter of time before something happened… )
In the meantime I’ve managed to float around using my sister’s laptop, and finally got the chance to get some art going (after installing Photoshop again, scanning pics, etc.)…

The tied-up Dash picture is amazing, Pixfan! The lineart, the shading, the expression on his face- I can’t fault it! To see an artist progress so well is great, and I look forward to seeing even more of your artwork.

I may have seen your June Art Jam entry before but I’ll say this anyway: That is one heck of a fabulous crossover. I love how Russell is so excited riding Sulley (poor Sulley haha) and would you look at Remy riding Dug! I like the addition of other characters on the side, too. Marvelous work.
And as for your most recent update, the Pixar Planet dA ID contest entry, holy moly, just 5 days? Dude, that’s some seriously awesome work, I love how you put it all together. Dash sitting on Sulley’s shoulder, Remy riding EVE’s head, Buzz on top of Lightning, Russell with Nemo leaping toward the edge of the bowl (or is it Marlin?), Boo laughing happily on the side and Flik just gliding by with a leaf. AMAZING how you persistantly got that done in 5 days! I’m real impressed!

PPDA Contest: Haha yea I say the same thing myself, I still can’t believe I got this done in time (especially since I usually don’t do many multi-character pieces)…
The only thing I regret is not having time to add more characters…

Like I said, the majority of these characters I’ve bareley drawn before (and a lil’ rushed), so if anything seems a little off (which is probably so) ‘my bad’ ahead of time…
I saw these on deviantart! I must say that i was really impressed! You have an amazing artistic talent! I’m also amazed how you combined all of the Pixar characters into one. Really cool.
I’m always impressed by your art, Pixfan, and this collection is no exception! EVE, Flick, Remy, Buzz…They all look great in your style and with your simplistic yet effective way of colouring. I especially like EVE’s eyes- they’ve got a lovely glow about them.
It’s literally almost been a YEAR since I’ve updated this thread…man shame on me huh?
My excuse is pretty much a copy/paste of my last post (above), I’ve just REALLY been busy. But on the bright side, my sketchbook is FAR from empty, I’ve spent some time either in class or wherever, taking my skills to another level.
Can’t say exactly when, but I WILL have proof of that to post here sooner or later…
