-Mrs. Gump, Forrest gump.

“I may not be a smart man, but I know what love IS.”
-Forrest Gump, Forrest Gump.

“Once upon a time, there was a sensible straight line, who was hopelessly in love with a dog”
-The Dot and the Line

puts up hand I love Tom Hanks  Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies ever. Here’s another quote from it, one of my favorites:

“I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or if we’re all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it’s both. Maybe both is happening at the same time.”

And one from one of my favorite books (a line from a poem):

“One could not count the moons that shimmer on her roofs
And the thousand splendid suns that hide behind her walls.”

Virginia: I love him! He’s my favorite actor, Mr. Hanks is. Man, he has such talent. He can play dramatic roles such as Forrest Gump and Philadelphia, but he’s also quite a comedian, I loved him in SNL!

Same here. I always knew him as Woody, before I even knew what that meant. I love him so much…he’s done some of the greatest movie characters. Ever. <3 I made a thread about him XD

Anyway…

“Consciously, I’d always thought of The Incredibles as a tribute to the pop mythology of my youth, a gumbo of spy movies, comic books, and favorite television shows; but I realize now that the other half of its ingredients came out of personal anxieties about family, work, expectations, and the special gifts we are all… given but don’t always appreciate.”

 • Brad Bird

Here’s one from one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies:

“We each owe a death - there are no exceptions - but, oh God, sometimes the Green Mile seems so long.”

^Wow…tht’s really deep. I need to see that…

“This better be pretty frickin’ important, is the meadow on fire?”
-Charlie the Unicorn

Oooh… my… goood… that is my earworm now, believe it or not! Did you listen to the Autotune version?

Oh, and I want to watch ‘The Dot and the Line’. Has a very Pixarian-surrealistic quality to it (like Day & Night) apparently.

“Trolls exist! They steal your socks, but only the left ones. What’s with that?”

Gobber, How to Train Your Dragon

thedriveintheater: Yep, I have the autotune version on my iPod actually! Ha, it’s a great song!

Have you ever seen the Dot and the Line? It does have it’s Pixar qualities to it. It was different for it’s time sort of, One of Chuck Jone’s greatest work, got an Oscar. I also love how it tells a story of love using inanimate objects (just like WALL-E/EVE)

Ooh, I should see it, then!!

“Well every year I do an animated film for DreamWorks, take all the money to the Oscars, and then bet it on Pixar.”
-Jack Black

Classic! Gotta love how snappy he is.

“Boil your head, you ugly fish!” - Willy Wonka (to one of the mothers)

“If we can send robots to Mars to pick up rocks, I’m pretty sure we can put a sparrow in an apple”

-Me (you had to of been there to find that funny!)

“Out there, beyond that fence, every living thing that crawls, flies or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for jujubes.”

- Colonel Miles Quaritch, Avatar

“Your heart just breaks, that’s all. But you can’t judge, or point fingers. You just have to be lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you.”-
Audrey Hepburn <3

“Enjoy prison! I’ll miss the sound of your laughter!”

- Flynn Rider, Tangled

That line from the trailer made me laugh so hard for its sheer absurdity.

Nonsense. I’m sure if we bashed your head in, all sorts of secrets would come tumbling out…- Simon Skinner, Hot Fuzz

“I’m not like other people, pain hurts me”
-Daffy Duck

“WHO MADE MAN’S MOUTH? WHO MADE THE DEAF, THE MUTE, THE SEEING OR THE BLIND? DID NOT I? NOW GO!
Oh, Moses, I shall be with you when you go to the king of Egypt. But Pharaoh will not listen. So I will stretch forth my hand and smite Egypt with all my wonders! Take the staff in your hand, Moses. With it, you shall do my wonders.”
-God, The Prince of Egypt <3
