I didn’t even notice the army men. And I’m sure you’ll love RC, I’ve got him and he’s a lot of fun besides being pretty much film accurate.

Suggestions for improvement?? Apart from the fact that a few are out of scale and Mr Potato Head needs better eyes and mouth I know!
I actually like the use of vintage toys. It gives a more genuine “toy” feeling (as opposed to a collectible). Is that the Mattel Woody? I like his facial expression more.
Yes I think so, Its definatly not the TSC one! Got it from Big W. Mr Potato Head, the Bucket O Soldiers, RC, Lenny, Buzz and Mr Mike are all from 1995. And the Etch a Sketh and Little Tikes Fire truck are even older than that I think?
The real-life toys in the film were mainly ones from the late 80s, although Mr. Mike (Rockin’ Robot) and Little Tikes were made closer to the time the film was released (I had a thread detailing this, but I lost it). I didn’t even see it at first, but the 90s Bucket O Soldiers is awesome. Less labels make it more authentic (although I definately don’t mind the vintage Toy Story logo). Although the army men themselves aren’t replicas, I do prefer the darker color.

My bad, I guess it was a popular toy then. I only assumed early 90s because I also had one as a kid. Does anyone have the original Hot Wheels Super Stunt Set (or something like that). It was made for the original Toy Story movie, and it’s pretty much a replica of Andy’s Hot Wheels set, including the Red Baron car. It’s super rare, but the recently released Falling With Style set is probably close enough.
And if anyone could dig up my Toy Story Replicas thread, that’d be cool.
Do you mean the orange loop track from hotwheels??? If so I see it on ebay all the time, one seller has about 5 of them I think they were about $25??
