Not again! I get so excited, thinking someone actually has a comment on some of my artwork. But no… sniff
In other news, here’s a new holiday card I made on Photoshop.

Sorry, your highness. Thee threat has been neutralized.
Okay, q_o_p, that absolutely beautiful digital figure study clearly demonstrates all previous points about an artist, a blank space, and digital tools. It’s the picture worth a thousand words. Outstanding work that would improve any wall upon which it was framed and hung.
P.S. The holiday card has a neat UPA/Chuck Jones vibe going for it!
Wow, it totally does!
I like it q_o_p, super cute!
Another Christmas card. ![]()
Some sketches I did today. Silly stuff! My favorite is the silly toad monster. ![]()
Expect a more time-consuming (trackpad) digital painting to come soon… I’ve spent about 6 hours on it so far! Here’s a very tiny sneak peek.

Done! Only took… counts fingers 8-10 hours? That can probably be attributed to using a trackpad.

Finished a new digital trackpad painting! My next work will be concept art from Pixar movies, so stay tuned. ![]()
loving your pencil work, and your colour work.
sketch books are so important when it comes to finding work , never throw anything away and photograph everything you build.
keep doing what you love and all will be cool.
p.s
the photos that work the best are the photos that you are in producing you work , these are the photos that have the most sentimental value.
Thanks for the kind words and advice, littleblue. ![]()
Here’s a quick concept piece for a children’s book idea involving cats. As you can hopefully see, I’ve been verrrrry prolific lately, all thanks to my new love of Photoshop painting. There are so many projects I want to do!
nice choice of colour and texture .
very playful and dream like .
its nice to play with ideas and its easy to get carryed away and have to many ideas, this usually means that thay dont get followed through to their natural conclusion or dont get done at all,
a few photos of some of my other work?
cheers
Wow, your work is very impressive. You should make a thread in this forum for posting pics of it.
Here’s a quick self-portrait I did with a trackpad.
And some more work put into the concept painting.
these images need to be moving , even if it was only 5 to 10 frames.
live life in the scary lane, animate.
you have talent , go for it. ![]()
I’m definitely going to try animating and in different media. Animation is very intimidating due to its complex nature, but then I’ve surprised myself many times with what I’m capable of doing. My skills just keep growing, so I remind myself of that fact whenever I feel my work isn’t strong enough.
Pin-up! I rather like working in this style.
art its a funny old game.
its not art that intimidates you its the people and the silliness that surrounds it.
it can be simple or it can be complicated its your choice .
so from one pencil pusher to another , have a super cool chrismas
regards from across the pond. x
A little trackpad cartoon I did that was inspired by Merida’s crazy hair. The saturation looks a little weird when uploaded to Photobucket so hopefully my adjustments don’t mess up the colors more so. I had fun doing this! ![]()
You’re self portrait is so cute!
You are a great artist! I love your Mulan picture the best.
I love your artwork! I love how you have some fun ones and also some that have really awesome detail.
Yes, I like to have fun with different styles of artwork and media, such as photography (which I haven’t posted on here recently). I would say the only thing I don’t have much experience with is abstract art.
Speaking of photos!
Recognize this guy? ![]()
