Radio Pixar #3: Still Using 'We're New at This' as an Excuse

Your reviews all inspire all of us to continue you all. So we must thank you guys. Personally, I had a lot of fun recording this and participating in the Violet Parr in-depth discussion.

I can’t wait to hear the in-depth discussion on the next show.
Dash I loved your “E” impression! 8D

AJD08: By the way, you sound almost exactly like Gazerbeam – a younger Gazerbeam. (Relax – it’s a compliment!)

And yes, your Edna impression is great, Dash!

Hehe, thanks for the compliment, Mitch. So that makes Radio Pixar an All Star cast- Dory, Brad Bird, AND Gazerbeam! lol

Great job to everyone involved in the latest ep of RadioPIXAR, especially the newer participants!! I really enjoyed this episode, but I will be honest: It was a TAD long. An hour and twelve minutes as opposed to the usual forty-nine? Granted, everything done was great - I guess that means that we’re seeing a surge in PIXAR developments, but I was wondering how long!

And AJ - how many times must we say this: Take Wikipedia with a grain of salt!! :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Looking forward to Episode IV!!

Hey! Who do I sound like? ;-p

~~=oP

Haha – yeah!

PixarVixen: You sound like a very sweet version of TL, who, like I said before, sounds like Dory’s second cousin twice-removed. So, in a sense, you are related to Dory! :stuck_out_tongue:

Bawpcwpn (aka luxo jr. from his site) just posted on his site about Radio Pixar Episode #3.

Bawpcwpn I love your site I go to it alot, its how I found Pixar Planet

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaah. 8D Well, I hope short-term memory loss doesn’t really run in the family then. Uhh…What topic is this again? And who are you? LOL

~~=oP

Actually I think PV sounds like an extremely cheered up Violet. Liked after she goes out with Tony happy x3… lol

<3 Ooohh maaan. I’m blushing like crazy right now. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Love" /> What a nice way to wake up.

Haha!!  Unfortunately, short-term memory loss does run in my family. At least, it does in me, particularily. I’m only seventeen years old and I already forget stuff within
two seconds of remembering it. It sucks… :stuck_out_tongue:

Vixen and Tony, sittin’ in a tree… :stuck_out_tongue:

swoons You guys are killin’ me here! <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Lol. Pardon me for my little bit of fun. I’m an expert teaser here at home – I gotta spread it sometime! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, I don’t mind the teasing. hugs Thanks, Mitch. But now, even though I hate to say it, let’s get off the subject of Tony and go back to discussing the third Radio Pixar show. ;-p

~~=oP

I got a hug! hugs back

Heheh – yes, let’s. I’d hate to be the one to get too off topic.

I just thought that I’d say that I’ve actually thought on the issue of the first human-less Pixar film before, and I do consider Cars to be the first true human-less film from the company; ABL didn’t have any actual human characters, but it’s obvious from the trailer and the “city” and the sombrero and all that it does take place in a world in which humans live, whereas Cars is their first film to take place in a real “parallel universe”-type human-less setting. So, that’s my thoughts.

And I’d like to let everyone know that the episode’s lateness is in large part my fault (or, in an attempt to save a little face, shall I say my computer’s and crappy internet connection’s fault), so many deep and humble apologies to everyone. But it shan’t happen again! (I hope.)

haha - had just as much to do with my failure to get the news in on time - AGAIN! I’m hoping to have a permanent fix to that soon though.

Well, like you said. We are still new at this. You can’t expect perfection to happen just like that. We all made some mistakes, but we all have gained more experience each time we do mess up.

Great episode, guys. I loved the in-depth discussion; it was informative and had just enough of a silly touch to let me know you had fun doing it, too - always important. Then again, knowing who’s running the show, it’s not much of a surprise…

I also consider Cars to be the first true human-less film; not only does ABL look like it takes place in our world, the bugs all have an anthropomorphic quality to them; ants and grasshoppers don’t usually walk around on their hind legs. Plus they’re missing a few legs…
