Mitch: Not really next to
the beach, but I live a half an hour away from the beach.
I live in Southern California too so… I’ve
never heard of a Rainy Day. Heh.
Rain can get heavy when it falls but it’s not enough to cancel school, sadly
enough. When I first moved here it was during that whole rolling blackout craze and I claimed that California had
no energy because we hardly get lightning. Heh.
I used to live in Tennessee and before that Illinois so I
know what Snow Days are which are, you know, always terrific. Especially when you’re in elementary school.
Heehee… I miss those days.
I concur. Showoff.
I wasn’t looking at
actual radar stuff like Dash was, but we had some pretty nasty weather here yesterday, and it wouldn’t surprise
me if it was the same system having moved north. There were tornado warnings or watches or somethings until at
least 11 in the morning, and while the rain was sporadic, when it rained, it really
rained! After my last class, I just took my shoes and socks off for the rest of the day, because they were all
squishy (although that was partly my doing, because I decided to actually go out and play in the rain during
lunch
). There were some pretty dang wet people on campus, that’s for sure… Loved every minute of it.

I miss those days, too, and I’ve lived in the same place my whole life!
It’s global warming, I’m tellin’ ya!
Seriously, I haven’t had a really good snow day since lower school,
and haven’t had any snow days at all since middle school (which is only one winter, but still).
ha ! i probably got the same rain storm today ! it rained
for , like , ever !
I hope it doesn’t rain this week. I’m off and I would love to do stuff
outside.
