YouAreAToy!!! and Irongiant: Glad you guys enjoyed it! It has to be my favourite movie from an intellectual/objective standpoint this year (well, next to Kung Fu Panda 2). Of course, from an emotional/personal view, I’d pick Cars 2 or Rio, but Rango… just blew me away like a desperado gunslinger. Absolutely phenomenal, and dare I say it, Oscar-worthy (I’d even go as far to say Best Pic judging from the mediocre crop of movies this year).

I heard the extended ending also features what happen to Wounded Bird after he got shot, so it’s glad to hear he got a happy ending! I’d love to get my hands on the DVD/Blu-Ray once I earn my first paycheck so I can listen to the commentary and watch the special features! :slight_smile:

Well, the “Oscar movies season” hasn’t started yet. At this point last year, we only had about two Oscar Nominated movies released. So there’s still a lot to see.

I think Rango should win the Oscar it blew me away hands down my favorite movie of the year Rio in a close second.

I thought it looked great. But I just didn’t really connect with it, alot of jokes just weren’t funny to me. I just didn’t really like it much, I just thought it was okay. But that is just me.

Mine would be Rango himself.

Jake was good, but I don’t think he had enough time to shine. Anyway, a lot of secondaries were great, specially the owls.

Heck, forget everything. The owls are my favorite thing.

My favorite was probably Rattlesnake Jake. Rango annoyed me a bit, he lied a bit too much to be the good guy for my tastes.

I found Beans to be…odd. I don’t know about annoying, she was pretty interesting.

I liked Beans. I initially found her design off-putting, but her cute voice made up for it.

Yeah, a lot of the characters are…weird, looking. That’s one reason I like the movie so much.
