Ratatouille screenshots!

That post made me LOL.

Mitch- You just leaving my question

unanswered Heh. I was thinking, ā€œwhat’s going on?ā€ .

rachelcakes - Haha – yeah, that screenshot is hilarious. Glad I

made you laugh! (snigger) 8D

Bill - Ohhh…pfff. Heheh. Sorry,

Bill! I actually did reply to your message. That little

Off-Topic sentence was my response to you. Sorry I confused you – heheh.

Note: Not that this is relevant to our topic of

discussion, but I just realized that Ratatouille comes out in Japan on my birthday.

What are the odds of that? :stuck_out_tongue:

I look at that pic and it makes me smile. ^^ Which is a

good thing now, 'cause I’ve been having a rotten day. Thanks for that, Mitch

FONY - Aww – no problem.

Heheh.

What is everyone’s favorite screenshot from the trailer?

Mine is this

one:

]

Mitch - I had a feeling that would be your favorite one! As for me… Well, I don’t know!!! I

like the whole trailer, not just certain screenshots of it!

Bill - Haha – yeah, that’s my signature ā€œemotionā€, actually. It’s one

of my favorite expressions…so naturally I liked that particular screenshot. Heheh. :stuck_out_tongue:

And yeah, I know.

The whole thing is great – it’s hard to pick just one shot!

Love hish little smirk! x3

But, as an aspiring animator I couldn’t help but

stare in awe at the strands of hair they made for Linguini. That is so freakin’ cool!! … sorry. ^^ I wanna

learn to do that one day.

Haha – I agree! How the heck do that do all that stuff? They have to animated every

little detail: the shine on the fur; Linguini’s hair; the steam coming out of the pots in the kitchen… Gee

whiz. (snigger)

I think it comes with new technology, but

also with the new people working there. I hope one of them is me one day. ^^

I really don’t have a favorite screenshot, counting the fact I have only seen the

trailer 4 times.

Favorite screenshot? I’d have to say the one when

Linguini says ā€œYou understand me!ā€ as he’s looking down at Remy. It says alot about their future

relationship, somehow.

(heehee) 4 times, TSS! Shame! :stuck_out_tongue:

FONY - Keep saying that to yourself and one day you just might find yourself at a

desk in Pixar Animation Studios.

Gasduude - You mean this

one?

Hee hee.

To

me, that screenshot give me a sense of hope. I just love how Linguini looks at Remy, both sharing a common

dream.

That shot means a lot to me 'cause it’s like he’s suddenly cheered up because he finally found a friend

in the world. And, the shot’s freakin’ adorable, of course. ^^ A lot of emotion in that animation.

Interesting how that particular screenshot each means

something different to you guys. It is a very emotional moment in the film, and – as you said,

FONY – it’s quite adorable in every way.

Guess I’d better contribute…

That particular moment does make me smile, simply due to the fact that it shows that friendship comes in all

shapes and sizes. It doesn’t matter whether Remy is a rat or not; it’s the fact that he is a faithful companion

to Linguini that delivers the most emphasis and emotion.

Well, I guess I’m also

gonna express my opinion about that part of the trailer. Like Mitch, that one

screenshot makes me always smile. When I first saw it on the chinese/japanese/whatever trailer, I was always

smiling, cuz I knew that, to make things work, they knew they had to work together and being partners. A

partnership that I do believe it’s going to turn into a friendship.
Still about that trailer… It just

touched my heart when Remy realised that, to fulfill his dream, he had to stay with Linguini, and then he came

back slowly…

Oh goodness, that was just beautiful. Kinda surprised me that Remy would run

off like that (typical rat behavior, though – heheh), but the fact that he turned back – realizing that

Linguini could have killed him…but didn’t* – was simply heart-warming.

I love Pixar’s style – it’s

so simple, yet right to the point, and it manages to pull at your heartstrings in a manner of a couple minutes or

less.

*I didn’t realize this until my dad pointed it out to me.

Mitch – Yep, that’s the

one!

So much goes on right there: Linguini’s in a emotional mess, in the dark, drowning a rat that’s

the whole ā€œproblemā€ā€¦then he sees Remy can understand him, everything changes! :sunglasses:

Gasduude - Cha – most definitely. It’s a wonderful

moment in the film.

Man, I’m just cranking out the Linguini pictures this week! Not that this is the

best screenshot, but I just love how they did Linguini’s hair in this

frame:
