Ratatouille Toys!

Needless to say, I have gone a little Ratatouiile-crazy since the film’s initial release last Friday… :stuck_out_tongue:

Voila’! Take a peek:

Emile Badge:

Colette Badge:

Linguini Badge:

Remy Badge:

Ratatouille (Official) Poster*:

Various Ratatouille Merchandise – Disney Newsreel Magazine (bottom left), Guide to Remy’s World (bottom right), and a Ratatouille Pamphlet Acquired from the El Capitan Theater (top):

Ratatouille Apron:

In case you are wondering, my proud sister is wearing the apron.

– Mitch

*This particular poster was acquired via the Disney Movie Rewards program, and was free of charge. (My dad plans to get it framed for me, which is a real treat. Good ol’ dad. Heheh. )

Oh so those are the pins? Because most of the ones on Ebay seem to be fake… (LINK) I like the Linguini pin, naturally. The bite marks are cute, from the Remy’s World book.

rachel - Yeah, those are the “exclusive” pins that can probably only be purchased on Ebay now. Truth be told, I think that the Ratatouille pins currently up for grabs on the said site are cuter than the ones I got.

Oh good, they’re legit. Well, I’m not really a Remy person (yet ;-p), but I likey this pin!:

The price seems reasonable, too. =)

rachel - Yeah, I was looking at that same pin! Adorabel… Remy is the cutest thing on four legs – heheh. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Thanks for the pics, Mitch!

Were those the pins that the movie-theater employees wear? Because I think our guy at the box-office had one on…

Those pins are awesome, Mitch!

Wow, so much talk about merchandise! I gotta be honest; I just haven’t gotten crazy about Ratatouille merchandise. Althought the collector in me is drooling over those badges and magazines…
All I really want right now is a Remy plushie. (He’s soo adorable! ) Although that may change…

Mitch: I think ratatouille-crazy is a little bit of an understatement. But we all see! Nice pics.

Mitch - Ratatouille-crazy doesn’t even describe it. Heheheh, thanks for the pic. Do they have pins for all the characters or just Remy ?

I only got the Linguini pin, Colette pin, Skinner pin, and Emile pin. But I’m happy. It was last minute on the last day, so I was lucky.

Also, I bought the little Remy and Emile snow globe from the Disney store, and we went to KB toys and I got another die-cast car for my set, and a set of five figurines from Ratatouille (Colette, Linguini, Remy, Skinner, and Gusteau)

I almost went crazy over the plushies. But I’m running on empty, so I’m going to wait until they go down a little. I really want a plush of Linguini though, and the rats were just so freakin’ adorable!! x3

I wanted the pin set but it seemed quite small … who knows, I might go back and get it, but I would’ve preferred if they were regular sized.

Gasduude - No problem! And yep – I believe that Disney Store (and various movie theater) employees do wear the badges. Heck, I saw a couple of workers at the local Disney Store I go to wearing a couple of the things. Spread the word, they must. :stuck_out_tongue:

BandGeek727 - Thank you very much!

Yeah, Disney merchandise doesn’t come cheap. I’m only getting the items I really want, and leaving others (such as the plushies and children’s books) behind on the shelves. Kinda sucks, but oh well…

The Star Swordsman - Haha! Yeah, you’ve got a point there. Thanks, by the way!

Bill - Heheh – cha, I agree!

As for the pins, only these characters were featured: Remy, Linguini, Colette, Gusteau, Emile, and Skinner.

Too bad there weren’t any Ego ones. Oh well…

FONY - I’m glad you got the pins in time!

I may have to get someone from the US to buy the Ratatouille 3-pin-set from a Disney store and send them to me.

rachelcakes: I’d do it! Lol, it costs ten bucks though.
How much do you think for shipping though … overseas could be a lot … if it’s not too much, I’ll pay for shipping. ^^

Why, thank you for the offer.  I’ll pay you for both the pins + shipping (it’s only fair). Postage shouldn’t cost that much as the pins are pretty light, I guess. =)

I’ll PM you when I have organised what the exchange rate will be. Thanks again, FONY! =)

Okay  And you’re welcome

I managed to get all 6 movie stub pins from the Disney Store. Apparently, Skinner and Gusteau were the most popular ones because they were near extinction within the first 4 hours of the movie’s debut. Boy, did I luck out.

My favorite toy so far is my talking Linguini doll from Wal-Mart. ;-p He says:

[spoil]“Ra-pa-toul-ly.” (slurred)
“You really did it tonight, little chef.”
“Oops!”
“Eh-hyeh-heh-huh-ha!”
“Let’s DO this thing!”
“Ohh-wa-gyah-ouch!”
“Brrring it ooon!”[/spoil]

His voice sounds an awful lot like Lou Romano’s, unlike Lightning’s voice sounding NOTHING like Owen Wilson. Heheh.

I also love my Remy doll from Wal-Mart, which I prefer to the Remy dolls sold at the Disney Store. His proportions are better, and he’s squishy-soft. ;-p I haven’t removed the tab in his back, so I don’t know what he says yet.

~~=oP

I’m going to end up losing a lot of money on Ratatouille merchandise sooner or later … literally my heart skipped a beat when I saw the display in the Disney store. ^^ All I really want right now is a plushie, any plushie, just a plushie.

PV: Are those the smack-and-yacks? I want to get those. ^^

I want to get that talking Linguini doll, too. =) I skipped past the list of quotes because I haven’t seen the movie and don’t want anything spoiled, but the first one sounds funny.

I swear that I will totally freak out when I actually see some Ratatouille merch. in front of me, too. This movie is going to send me broke. But I don’t care. ;-p

Yep yep. I saw Remy, Linguini, and Gusteau, and I think Emile, too.

I’m sorry, rachelcakes! It didn’t occur to me that I should use spoiler tags. I edited my post.

~~=oP

Hey no problems. I’m getting used to having to skip past a lot of what people have written here, but the use of spoiler tags is much appreciated. =)
