Ratatouille Toys!

Talking about Ratatouille merchandise, has anyone bought one of the Giclee Fine Art ? They’re pretty expensive but look good !

I recently bought 3 Exclusive Pixar Fine Art (I need the 4th one Harley Jessup). All are numbered out of 249 (hand-numbered), framed, and signed by the artists :

Matt Nolte (left) - Albert Lozano (right)

Harley Jessup (left) - Dominique Louis (right)

The Matt Nolte one is absolutely fantastic as you can see every stroke of his pen. The one by Dominique Louis (Art Director) is so colorful, but they all look fantastic, really !

Rémi

Remi- Those are beautiful! I especially love the style of the first three- it’s so neat and fresh.

The Star Swordsman - It’s not supposed to taste good, it’s made for a different digestive system…

Nice pics Remi!

What does a digestive system have to do with taste buds?

Heh. I don’t know…I guess because dogs have a different way of digesting, they would have different taste preferences? Heheh, not my area of specialty.

remi: Oh my goodness, most of that stuff is making me very hungry right now! I love those posters. I think I have seen the first two posted up over Pixar’s little cafe area.

Remi - Very nice artwork there, I must say. I plan on purchasing the second Giclee Fine Art poster on the top (the one of Remy grasping the wine glass), as I fell in love with it from the moment I laid eyes on it and am hankering to get my paws on the thing.

The Ratatouille sketches and artwork by Matt Nolte, Albert Lozano, Harley Jessup, and Dominique Louis can all be found in The Art of Ratatouille book, as you may know. Matt Nolte’s Remy sketches are an absolute joy to gaze upon; I have actually become rather addicted to drawing them…

Thanks for the pictures, and welcome to Pixar Planet!

Update: Alright, guys. I tried one of the “rattie” treats and they’re actually…not half bad! They taste like stale bread with a hint of honey (or some other sweet product(s)). My sister and I really like them…

Wait Remi wheres the link to buy the exclusive fine art?

Aha! Runs off to patent food that dogs and humans will enjoy

Yup,I saw those. They’re pretty nice, the Emile one’s adorable! The first one is my favorite.

Speaking of Ratatouille stuff, I saw 2 or 3 different posters at Wal-Mart today.I was actually carrying one around and used it to defend myself when my 9-year-old sister got a little too nuts…but I didn’t buy it. I’m trying to save up to at least 30 bucks before my money burns a hole in my pocket.

HA! Cool…I want some! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah - they sounds so yummy.

Gasduude and rachel - Heheh. Yes, they really are rather delicious. (Kinda…) :stuck_out_tongue:

Mitch: How many did you eat anyway?

Even though this isn’t exactly about Ratatouille toys, I didn’t know where to put this. I was at the cinemas today looking at The Simpsons display (where you get your photo taken with them on the couch), and I was looking at the big cardboard poster things, and I saw the Ratatouille one. It was hidden behind all the other ones, but I could see it! I hope they display it soon.

The knives looked really cool. When they bring it out of hiding, I’ll get my photo taken with it. There was also a big, freakin’ Bee Movie poster out ALREADY! :unamused:

rachel - I only ate one of the treats, as did my sister, but I’m thinking of munching on another one…

Wow, that is really, wierd! But if you enjoyed it, then go on ahead and chow down somemore.

:arrow_right: Arludik

Thanks for the welcome post Mitch, much appreciated !
And yes indeed, all 4 sketches are artworks are in the book (which is absolutely brilliant). I am tempted to buy the Limited Edition of the book, but its way too expensive ($400 …)

Remi - You are most welcome, dude!

I also have my heart set on that limited edtion set that includes the “Art of Ratatouille” book, but the price is a little too high for my taste. Why does everything have to be so darn expensive?! (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I finally got my little paws on my first piece of Ratatouille merchandise. The 3-pin set from The Disney Store, thanks to your friend and mine, FONY. I won’t bother posting a pic, since Mitch already did.

I love them so much. The logo pin would have to be my favourite, followed by the “le chef de paris” pin, which is so cute. I’ll be wearing them when I see Ratatouille in the cinema, for sure.

rachel - Yay! I’m glad you finally discovered those nifty little trinkets. They’re cute, aren’t they?
