I like how Remy’s face looks. I think
it is kind of funny.

Heheh
– I’m glad you like the snow globe, guys!
lizardgirl - You are most
welcome! And yeah, aren’t those things bizarre? They freak me out.
FONY
Those are some pretty neat stuff right there. The Haloween costumes look kinda
silly, but cute in my opinion. Most of them i have seen in stores already.
Thanks for the pictures, Mitch! I was wondering when you
were going to take a trip to your local Disney store again. And speaking as someone who won’t be getting
these toys in their country for a while, I really appreciate it when you take the time to do this.
The
little chefs hat with the ears is so cute! I probably wouldn’t wear it but one of my nephews loves
cooking…
I am going to get that little Remy plush toy! And Linguini!
Pin set? I’m so there! That
might be just the thing I can wear when I go see it, seeing as I don’t really like the t-shirts.
Yay!
Remy made the front page!
Those Remy and Emile costumes are both an equal mixture of cute and
scary.
I wonder if this is it, or if there will be more merch coming out in the next week?
I need one of those Colette plushies(the ones by the
t-shirt)…0_o!
I really need a Linguini plush. x3 I’m still hoping for some huge obnoxious plush even though
I really do have enough of those …
I bought the comic zone thingy book today- I almost bought a bunch of
kids books but I thought over it and decided I’d get the Art of Ratatouille book one day. ^^ I also got a little
packet of fuzzy stickers. ^^
Eheheh. Well, you are most welcome, rachel. I love doing
this kind of thing! I have fun doing it and it makes you guys happy.
I take a trip to the Disney Store
almost every day, by the way. I’m that obsessed. (snigger)
One
of the employees at the local Disney Store I attend said that they will continue to receive more
Ratatouille merchandise as the days go by. As you saw via the pictures I provided,
some new products were available. It took them a few days/weeks to arrive, but they got there. I expect that
they’ll have even more goodies as “the day” gets ever closer…
I was actually in a Disney Store the other day. Had one
little measly stand of Ratatouille related…stinks.
Gasduude - Heh. Yeah, well, ours isn’t very impressive either. All they have is
one little stand! It kinda sucks…
How many Ratatouille toys were at the
Disney Store you went to, dude?
FONY: Here, here. I’m not sure if they make as many “big obnoxious”
plushes as they used to… At least a little Linguini plush wouldn’t take up as much room. A medium sized one
would be nice though, to sit on my bed.
Mitch: Well, if it makes you happy
then I’m glad. I like looking at pictures that people post on this forum, especially if someone has been to
something Pixar-related, then I feel like I’m not missing out as much by living overseas.
You go to the
Disney Store every day? Wow. They must know you by first name basis at that store! I can’t wait to see
the newer merchandise! =)
And if anyone else buys some Ratatouille merchandise, I’d be happy to see a
photo! =) No matter what it is.
rachel - Heheh – yeah, they
know my sister and I by heart now. They probably refer to us as the Ratatouille
“geeks” behind our back. (snigger)
I’ll be sure to take pictures of any new merchandise
should I notice it!
We’re not getting any Ratatouille merchandise for ages. The first person I asked who works at
the Disney store near me hadn’t even heard of the film. She had to go get a senior staff member because
she didn’t know what I was talking about.
lizardgirl - Seriously? Gee whiz, that sucks! All the more reason
for me to post pictures up here… Heh. But that really does suck.
lizardgirl: As members of a Disney store, they should know. Or you think they
would. But I think Disney goes a bit funny when it comes to promoting their films internationally, and
they want to do so at a time that suits them. But when basically everyone in civilised countries has access to an
Internet connection, it’s like, we kinda already know what movies are coming out…
If it makes you feel
any better, I don’t think anyone in Australia really knows about it either. =( But at least we have the Internet
to look at what will eventually be coming our way. Before long, you won’t be able to look anywhere without
seeing Ratatouille! (My dream).
I just posted this in the websites thread, but anyway, the Ratatouille
section of the Disney Shopping page

FShopping&Searchstr=ratatouille]has been updated[/url] with lots of Ratatouille merchandise. =)
There
is a lot of merch I haven’t seen before and some really cute stuff! Of the new stuff I like: the pink lunch
tote, Remy remote control car (I’ve seen it before, though), pink backpack, the new kids’ t-shirts, and the
Remy interactive plush.
No new women’s t-shirts, though. =(
rachel - Not to get off-topic,
but…

…I want that! I
want it so bad! checks wallet
Why would that be off topic?
Yeah, that shirt is
cute! As a last resort, I may just get a girls’ Ratatouille t-shirt and get it in the largest kids’ size
available and hopefully it will fit me like a women’s babydoll kind of shirt. That might actually work seeing as
the kids’ sizing is larger these days…
BTW, has anyone commented on the Ratatouille shirt you have
now?
rachel - Oh yeah, this is the "Ratatouille
Toys" section! Pff – my apologies. I’m completely naive today.
Cha, you should get some
form of Ratatouille merchandise, be it a t-shirt or a set of pins. However, Disney
items are rather hard on the wallet, so I can see why some people would hold off buying them early on in the
game. Still, it’s fun to shop for anything Ratatouille-related at the moment.
And yes, some people have commented on my t-shirt! I usually get the same response: "Hey, that’s
from that new Pixar movie, right?" And then I start ranting on about
Ratatouille…
Heh. That’s good. You’re doing good undercover work for
Pixar, there. =) Spread the word about Ratatouille. Have you worn your pins yet? I love those pins. They look so
awesome. My favourite one is the Ratatouille logo.
Oh yeah! I’ll definitely be getting Ratatouille
merchandise. I have only really been obsessed with Pixar since last year, and I wasn’t that into Cars, so this
time around I’m gonna go crazy! I am still browsing around at the moment but so far I want to
buy:
a t-shirt
pins
linguini and remy plush toys
the art of ratatouille book
(most expensive of what I want)
ratatouille cookbook
soundtrack
little
figurines
Sorry if that list bores you, I just had to write it down so that when the
merch does come out I won’t forget what I want. =)
But it really does all depend on what merchandise
makes its way to Australia. There are only a few Disney Stores in Australia, I think. And none in my state at
all. So, I have to rely on department stores for merchandise, and they may not stock the unique Ratatouille items
like the pins…
But I’m sure I’ll end up buying more than that, as it’s a lot easier to decide what to
buy when it’s right in front of you in the store. I’ll post a pic of my collection in September. But everyone
will probably be over Ratatouille by then… Heh.
rachel - Haha!
Cha, I’ve gotta spread the word! And yep: I wore one of my pins (the Remy and Emile one) for three days straight
this week. It was awesome. (snigger)
Oh no, the list isn’t boring at all! Spread the fandom.
I hope you get some Ratatouille merchandise in your area soon! I suppose
you could always order them off of E-bay or the like, too, if you can’t wait any longer.
Heheh – at the moment, that seems
impossible to me.
Err, I don’t think
we’ll be getting any soon. Maybe about mid-August or so.
My mum works for a big department store and
she knows I love Pixar and Ratatouille and I always talk about it, so during a meeting where the manager of the
toys section was rattling off names of upcoming toys: The Simpsons, Transformers, etc and when it came to
Ratatouille she said “Woo hoo! That’s gonna be the best movie of the year!” But she said as soon as
the toys come in out the back of the store, she’ll let me know. Maybe I could even go and have an advanced peek?
I may consider buying those hella-cool pins over the Internet if they don’t end up coming here,
though.
