Ratatouille tv spots

Man you should have watched it then you could be

telling us about it.

I just saw another new tv

spot!

I just saw a new

Ratatouille tv spot it was so awesome!!!

Spider-Man - Can you give a discription of it?

Okay, now I am

tempted to bang my head against the computer right now. I can not believe that I am missing all of these tv

spots.

I’m kind of surprised that the TV spots aren’t on

YouTube yet… I hope that this doesn’t mean tbere’s not a lot of interest in the movie! :open_mouth:

Bill - Wow, you’re in Menomonee Falls? I’m in Madison, and my parents

live in Hartford! As the Disney folks say, its a small world.

CestlaVenus: I doubt it

would mean that. Maybe many people just don’t know. If a member has a video file of a TV spot, maybe he/she

could be the first to post one on Youtube.

Where are people seeing 'em? ABC?

I think it would be on

any channel directed at kids, but the best shot is probably the disney channel.

tv spots

drives me crazy, i watched every channel (Nick and disney channel) and i just watched 1 tv spot and i was

expected to see more movies sufers (i only watched 1 and new) and nothing!!!

i wish one of you

put tv spots on youtube

Bill- It’s kind of hard to because I was typing that post when

it was on, so I don’t really know what to say.

I really don’t see that many, mainly because of the shows I watch (Animal Planet, Discovery,

Adult Swim, and Daily Show ect). I’ve seen special ads made for Grey’s Anatomy and House (I think it was

House). Animal planet’s showed the same “lightening” ad during the animal cops shows that come on at

Patience. We’ll see them on YouTube soon enough!

Yep, can’t wait!!!

That’s where I (kinda) saw mine. It makes sense, since Disney owns

ABC.

Btw, I really like that Pixar is marketing this to adults as well as kids (which they must be if

they’re showing spots during shows like House and Grey’s Anatomy). I’m sure part of that is trying to

convince parents to bring their kids to see it. But I think they’re also factoring in the large number of adult

fans Pixar has, and its nice to see that they’re taking us into account.

Cestavanus – Yes, I agree.

Just like TI it’s going to have action and a bigger, deeper plot. Adults will love just as much as kids!

Gasduude - The

movie is rated G, not PG.

Woops! My bad!

But still, my point holds true: it’s going to be like TI with a bigger plot.

I know, I know. I have a bad habit of always assuming the worst! :-\

But I can’t help but worry, since its up against so many huge movies that have been constantly hyped in

the media. From what I’ve seen, I think Ratatouille is probably going to replace Finding Nemo as my favorite

Pixar film, so I [i:25g505wo]really[/i:25g505wo] want it to do well!

You guys want to know what

really got me worried? Too bad, becuase I’m going to tell you anyway. Nick offered to take my

sister’s kids (ages 5, 8, and 9) to see Ratatouille while I was busy with Elodie’s wedding, and none of them

had heard of the movie at all! And these are kids who live and breathe the Disney Channel, and could probably

quote every Pixar movie in its entirity. Yes, even the 5 year old.

But I do think that once the

movie comes out, it’ll do really well by word of mouth if nothing else. In fact, Nick showed my sister’s kids

the trailer online, and now not only are they dying to see it, so are all their friends from school!

That’s a very good sign, except I’m afraid poor Nick is going to wind up taking way more munchkins to

the movie than he originally planned! :-D)

Cestavenus – Same here. Only

one of my friends knew what Ratatouille even was, and

he had only seen the teaser. But I think your right that word-of-mouth is going to carry

Ratatouille far. We’ll see…
