Was the jr ball in the Cars game?
Edna - Mmm…I’m not sure, to tell you the truth. I’ve played games concerning
every one of Pixar’s films except for Cars, so I guess I can’t judge – heheh.
You’ll have to ask someone else, in this case. ![]()
Obviously, the ball is in this
Ratatouille game though…so I see no reason why it shouldn’t be in the
Cars one as well.
But why would the
jr ball be in the Cars game? It makes no sense.
Not really ,
it could always be in the background or a car’s antenna ball . It doesn’t mainly have to be used in the game
.
Yep – and you can view even more here
plus a couple of video
clips!

This game
looks so easy – I’ll be able to beat it in two hours tops for sure…
Careful. Don’t judge it just
yet. I mean, the Incredibles looked like an easy game of beating bad guys but after I got it, it was a little
challenging.
Sorry for the
double post, but I wanted to point out a couple of things:
First of all, look at the graphics on this
thing! I mean – dang! It’s not as good as…say, Call of Duty, but they’re still
pretty impressive.

r
Secondly, doesn’t this scene (below) remind you of a part that will take place in the film?

r
A recent article on Jim Hill Media announced that twelve mintues of
Ratatouille will be shown at the Wonder Con in San
Francisco, and Mr. Hill himself described the entire scene in his article, one part of which basically stated
this:
[spoil]Remy attempts to fix a soup that Linguini spoiled. To get to the soup, he has to
dodge between various dangers and such in order to reach his goal.[/spoil]
That second picture
that I submitted above seems to depict that very scene, from the looks of it.
This game really does look
pretty exciting…and easy. I’ve also noticed that certain character actions are recognizable in other video
games as well (ie., Remy can whack enemies with his tail, just like Croc can in the Croc 1 and
2 games; Remy can launch himself onto a ledge by throwing a heavy object onto a spoon to catapult
himself to the said ledge, like in a Tarzan Action Game I obtain; Remy has the
ability to launch himself to higher ground via poles and other objects, such as Mr. Incredible does in
The Incredibles game; etc…).
Kind of
interesting…
The Star Swordsman - Haha – I know. It always looks easy at
first…but after a while… ![]()
I think your right about that second picture,
Mitch, it almost looks like there’s Linguini in the back of the Kitchen… but
it’s kinda hard to see…
Anyway, thanks for the pics! ![]()
I know – that has to be Linguini (it’s the hair…). And you’re welcome! ![]()
You know
what, I also have to mention that the kid in this
picture…

…has to be the
freakiest creation in any game I’ve ever seen. ![]()
Run remy run!
I wonder
who that boy is. And what part in the movie will he play.
I know – I don’t blame Remy for running away. ![]()
These types of characters always make an appearance in computer games, for the creators of the game then
have a chance to add in new dangers, scenes/locations, and individuals who don’t make an appearance in the real
film. I’ve also noticed that they try to make the bad guys as scary as possible… (snigger)
I see. I don’t see why
that little boy would want to chase Remy. It is a rat. And where is the mother?
Haha – that’s obvious. Two things:
1. Kids will always chase anything
small that they can get their hands on. What does Remy look like to that little monster? Uh huh – a play toy,
and a very squeaky one at that. (snigger)
2. It looks, to me, as if the kid
is chasing Remy in either the frozen section of a grocery store or in a department store. The mother is probably
buying or browsing and not paying attention to the kid.
There you have it! This happens all the time in
video games… ![]()
Hm, I see. That makes some sense.
Glad I could help ya’ out. (heheh) ![]()
I wonder what the music will be like in the video game?
I must say
that video games (especially the computer/PC ones) have some of the coolest backround scores on the planet.
Hopefully, Ratatouille will not disappoint…
Mitch - Oh it won’t be adisappoint, you can be sure of that. ![]()
I would
guess that the music in the film would have the same concept as to the one in the game.
Here’s the official Ratatouille PS2 cover:
