I’m not really excited over the update, since it’s a 1-disc… 
Does anyone have any idea when it’s going to be released outside of the US?

As a side note, my sister and I were watching the Disney Channel last night…when they happened to show a behind-the-scenes featurette for the Ratatouille DVD on their “Really Short Report”…thing-a-ma-jig. The most they showed, as far as the film itself goes, were a few clips from the production and a two-second clip from the short, Your Friend the Rat. Being the geek that I am, I took a shot of it via the internet:
“Why the heck are they in a school-based environment??”, is my only question.

martini833 - I believe it says, “Mars” (with the ‘R’ written backwards) and then “Son”-something. Other than that, I have no idea what it says either.

Mitch- Mars Song, I believe since there are musical notes. Anywyas, what about the rumors that the short is [spoil]traditionaly-animated [/spoil]maybe that shot is from an [spoil]easter egg.[/spoil] Or it could just be a random promotional image from Disney.
Oh, and Disney/Pixar DVD that cracks me up, IDK why…
lizardgirl - Well, release dates vary around the world, but I tried to look for the UK release but I think it’s a bit to early to tell. I would guess in February, sometime for you?
Mitch - Oooh. Thanks for that, Mitch! That Really Short Report is so cute, and so are those kids. I like how they used the music from the credits.
I’m guessing by that screenshot, and the title of the short film, that it is going to be kind of like an instructional video.

Yeah, I wondered that, as well. Either it is actually an easter egg, or it preceeds the traditional animation in the short. Either way, we’ll find out when we get the DVD. Heheh.

Oh I know that shot Mitch. I seen that same on on TV in a Ratatouille DVD commercial.
