Yeah, he’s been in their live-action films also, so he’s kind of a regular for both.
Has anyone mentioned Richard Kind yet? Molt in ABL, the lost Minivan (Van?) in Cars, and the Bookworm in TS3. And I apologize if someone’s already mentioned this, but of course Bob Peterson was Roz in MI, Mr. Ray in Nemo, and Dug in Up.
Flik-E, I love your idea of John Ratzenberger showing up as Bigfoot in MI2! That would be hilarious. I remember cracking up at the Underminer, because it hadn’t even occurred to me that we hadn’t heard him yet in Incredibles, and all of a sudden, at the last possible moment, there he was!
Brad Bird didn’t want to use John’s voice at first in The Incredibles, but when he changed his mind his joke is that he’s the very last thing you hear.
Yeah, I thought it was very cool. Usually his voice is somewhere in the middle. I remember it took me forever to find him in Ratatouille because of the French accent!! Brad Bird is pretty clever with these things…
One of the things I love about Ratatouille is how John R & Brad Garrett both have good roles where they’re really playing “against type,” and aren’t instantly recognizeable.
How about the late, great Joe Ranft? He played Lenny, Heimlich, Wheezy, Jacques, Red and that Peterbilt. Or Guido Quaroni who played Tony the Grosser and Guido? Or Lou Romano, who played Snotrod and Linguini?

Last night I watched Finding Nemo, when Mr. Ray started his song, I tried pucturing Dug singing that song and the thought was so weird I started laughing for about 15 minutes.

I think Bob Peterson was also the janitor at the Day care centre in Toy Story 3. Watch the clip “Woody’s Bathroom Escape”. It might not be him, but it sure does sound like him.
