To the person above me: I suggest you read the comics (Personally i’d start with The Crab With The Golden Claws, The Calculus Affair, The Blue Lotus first, if only because they’re the more famous ones, and then read the rest) and maybe watch the 90’d cartoon-it isn’t brilliant but it’s almost exactly like the comics in places. Having said that, the film itself is similar to a lot of early Spielberg action-adventure movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark, so you don’t have to know the story to enjoy the film
And Tintin is famous literally everywhere else in the world…
