The animation is awful. The humor isn’t very smart, just indecent (and that’s what makes most people laugh). But what I hate the most is the show’s total lack of a moral code.
Sorry, I can’t explain it in a better way. I just think it’s wrong.

Agreed. The first couple season’s animation was horrible, but look at their budget. And the animation was like that bc it was originally all hand animated for a college project, by two people. Who weren’t even animtation majors.
The humor is quite smart actually, if you’ve seen some of the episodes past the third season. The show has been well praiesd by many people due to its smart humour and intelligent satire about society today.
While it’s infamous for its shock value, it’s not all just immature jokes. A lot of the jokes without swear words by the way, but people don’t watch the show to know that and write it off.
But to each their own.
Sorry, I just get offended by watching and I don’t think so many minors should watch it.
The show is rated TV-MA. That means they want you to be 18 or older to watch it, I’m 19 and Ellie 19, Though I did watch it before that. The first few episodes were done by construction paper. That’s all really, construction paper and a camera.
No, of course I know your ages, and I’m not talking about your particular cases. But at least in my country, the show is popular among very young teens (you yourself admit you watched it before being of age) and I think it sets a very bad example, as I’ve seen their behavior. I’ve never seen the show in English, but at least in the dubbing, every line contains profanity. I think there are better approaches to humor and social satire than that.
But as e-j-e said, to each their own! (Though I think parents should be more careful about letting young kids watching it).
I hate South Park. I have watched it(not a lot, I just saw a couple of episodes on TV once) and it was like Family Guy. I hope not to see it again.
