I hate it when Americans misspell very simple English words, and misuse commas and semicolons. I mean 3 or 4 people on here, some of them moderators, and the people at my school, and everyone! Is it that hard to behave intelligently? :neutral_face:

SpiritOfAdventure: What’s funny, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you spell your words incorrectly or use improper grammer, at least that I can recall. You do considerably well for someone who doesn’t really speak English. :wink:

I know! I’m not an English speaker and I try too hard. So I get offended when someone actually speaks the language but destroy it on written form.

You know i’ll be honest, but I’m the same way.
I often find it annoying when someone intentionally uses “text talk” as a way to communicate.
It’s like this: I can not understand the whole point of using acronyms like “LOL”, “BRB”, et cetera when you are speaking to me.
It’s ridiculous in my opinion. And it takes a while for me to understand what you’re saying through the use of them.
In writing, my eyes hurt because of it.

I always strive to have good spelling and/or good grammar.

Not so easy when typing on an iPod though :slight_smile:
