I still can’t get over how good Toy Story 3 is. I can’t help but shiver each time I watch it.
Some more factoids about me:
*I go to a beautiful community college in Northern California
*I grew up around grapevines, and wine is the only alcoholic I enjoy
*I support legalization of marijuana and think that the drinking age in the US should be lowered to 18.
*It is my goal to go to University in Alaska, Oregon, or Montana.
*I would jump at the chance to live in a cabin in the woods for a year, without any electronics and geared with a gun, camera, and sketchbooks.
*I CRINGE at the sight of human blood, but I’ve watched a pig be shot and slaughtered and had no problem with that. But I feel sick at the sight of human blood.
I’ve got a very low self-esteem and yet I’m participating on the Pixar Planet Awards. As if!
I think you have a very good chance at winning, it’s more or less why I thought you should enter SoA and little_chef! You seem good at what you do.
I am also entering myself in the PP awards with a one-shot Incredibles fanfiction.
I am also entering in the PP awards foe Best Fanfiction, Best Sig, and Best Video.
I hate video games glitches!
I’ve got nothing to enter into the PP Awards because I haven’t created anything. Nothing but a comic script and I couldn’t post it here because of language and the fact that people hate to read comic scripts.
I bought a Hershey Creme Pie from the store.
I’m in the same boat as you. Well, I have created some nice drawings/paintings that I have yet to post (they’re not here with me), but I just don’t see how something like a 45-minute charcoal portrait would compete against stuff that’s more cartoonish and colorful, especially fan art for something non-Pixar. I don’t stand a chance! Most of my sketchbook cartoons are from over a year ago, so those don’t qualify. But I’ll still post the other stuff; it just won’t be entered for anything.
I’ve been drawing a lot, but I don’t have a scanner.
I really hope to win a PP award, but it seems highly unlikely.
My hands are unusually cold today.
My hands and feet are always cold.
I find the first portion of Cinema Paradiso to be wonderful. The two parts that follow it, however, aren’t worth my time.
Sesame seeds and Saigon cinnamon are two of my favorite flavors.
I get motion sickness fairly easily.
I love Cinema Paradiso in all it’s extension. But yes, there are some parts which are better.
I write stories!! but have never finished one of my serious ones…
I hope I win an PP Award.
It’s the shift in subject matter and the dramatic change in tone that gets me. It totally makes sense in context of the boy’s age, but the teenage part, while still entertaining, is too cheesy, typical romance fare. The final part is very bleak, but I can see why. All of that said, I still really, really love the first part during his childhood. After that, I might as well stop the movie. The romance never interested me, anyway; I cared more about his growing passion for cinema and the theater. That’s mostly personal preference, though. Heh.
I feel like less of a film fan because I haven’t seen most of the films that SoA and Q have seen. Like the ultimate poser or something.
I just paid my rent today. My rent is still killing me.
I usually don’t care about any romance story, including that one. But I’m usually able to skip that part of me when watching a movie.
There’s no definite list you have to follow in order to join the imaginary film fans club. Just as long as you like movies, you’re good. There are a lot–and I mean a lot–of movies I haven’t seen yet because my list is miles long.
How long is your queue, Q? [spoil]bazing[/spoil]
I personally think half the fun of Netflix is queuing. But that might just be me. My current Instant list is over 150 movies long.
