I hate alcohol with all my might.
I agree with that. Although I’ve never tasted it, I despise it for what it does to people. And to my family.
Nobody in my family consumes it, but I despise it anyway.
My family is actually why I despise it. I will personally never have a drop. Or a cigarette. Or drugs, or s-e-x, or anything. I’d like to live in a box away from people and things I hate, really. That might be deranged, but there are people and things I wish didn’t exist and would avoid at all costs.

I also hate drugs and alcohol abuse. I think in moderation, drinking is okay. But too much is too much. But I’ve sipped it, and I hate it anyway. So it doesn’t really make a difference to me. But I’ve seen drug abuse up close. And I avoid taking pain killers (sometimes unreasonably) for that reason.
To me, alcoholic beverages smell like urine, so I feel no desire whatsoever to taste them.

I’ve just met a pair of drug users, and not even that close. If I feel lucky in any way for living in this country, is because the drug consume is way lesser than in USA and Europe.
Here is much more difficult to find an addict.
