I’m listening to all of The Final Cut today. It’s depressing, and I think The Wall is better for being less concentrated on its brooding sadness (which is a bit excessive on this album…), but I still love how theatrical this group is with their concept albums. It’s more like watching a movie with the visual portion removed than listening to music.
