Social Networking sites...

I should really join Facebook, so I can be friends just with people on here. And I heard it was better than MySpace. I’d be more inclined to post more personal photos of me of there - I have no real photos of me on MySpace, except for when I was little. I’ll think about it…

Arr ye be a pirate PV! Those blasted Ninja’s tried to wipe out us Pirates once before*, I’ll be damned if us Pirates ever let it happen again!

Mitch - I totally agree with PV, Mitch. You really should join facebook, but that’s your decision.

I am just on Myspace for now, everyone is bugging me to sign up for facebook. I might open an account there one day.

But for now my myspace is in my sig

PV and JV - Heheh. Thanks, guys, but I think I’ll just stick with Pixar Planet and deviantArt for the time being. I’m going to be busy, busy, and busy next Monday, which is when I start college, so I’ll probably only have time for those two, afore-mentioned websites. I’m doing my utmost to keep up with my duties on Pixar Planet and devaintArt as it is, which is why I’ve made a deal with myself to not go “over the limit” and join more websites than I need to. Heh.

Thanks, though!

This is my myspace. I haven’t logged in in a while. My friends (which I have many) Keep getting deleted off of my buddy list for some reason. I use myspace to harass pedophiles and talk to ganonbanned and Aircraft Killer, my co-admins.

This is my youtube. I watch weird sortsa stuff with it.

I never really see the point of these sites. Sure, you can chat to your friends and things, but I’d rather do that face to face, in real life! Ah, well, each to their own. dA is my second home on the internet, and only because there are so many other things to do on there.

You do have a point there lizardgirl. One reason why my parents never allow me on Myspace. Not only because questionalble people are on those kind of sites, but also, they think it is a lot more respectful just to talk with them through a phone or face to face than online chatting.

Although I do agree with you to an extent, such as I don’t see the point in leaving little messages on their myspace or facebook, especially when we have emails and IM, these social networking sites are great ways for friends to share photos with other friends and also possibly keep in contact with friends that live overseas. They do have their benefits.

bawpcwpn- Oh, yeah, they definitely have their upsides- the fact that we’re able to communicate with each other right now is quite amazing. It’s just that with close friends that I see all the time anyway, I’d rather meet up with them and make the effort to do that. But it is, as you say, very good for people with friends and family overseas.

I like them because it keeps random info about your friends that you can track down interesting tid bits about them or come back later to them for refference. It’s especially helpful around birthdays and the gift giving hollidays when you can check out current interests, music preference, etc to help pick out presents. =D
