All the voice actors look a little
like the character they voice. It’s with a lot of animated films, I’ve found.
If I can remember correctly, Brad
Bird visuallized Bob Parr as an caricurtured version of Craig T. nelson.
LMAO!!! 'Cause you know as well as I do that it
would churn your stomach if Tony was like TSS. LOL 
Yeah, apart from
Final Fantasy, in which they basically threw that idea out of the window.
But yes, as a general
rule, the characters do have similarities to their voice actors.
But the
animators try to get actors with a different personality than the characters right?
TSS- Well, it sort of
depends, I guess. If there’s an evil character, I doubt the animators would try to get an ‘evil’ actor, but
they might try and get an actor who is known for playing evil characters.
I meant that they probably wouldn’t get an actress with the personality of Violet parr to
play her right?
I always thought that he made Mr Incredible to
look like himself (blonde hair, stature…), and while also making Mr Incredible physically represent his own
super-power/personality, of course.
Oh, how I’d love to cast a live-action The Incredibles movie! I have
a thing for live-actions being made out of animation. That Enda-mode inspiration is awesome! I wonder why they
didn’t credit that lady for the design of Edna, during the “making of” featurette…?
