“I See the Light” from Tangled is another song that I think works.
Mr. Blue Sky is like the post-arrival WALL•E song.
“Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why, you had to hide away for so long? Where did we go wrong?”
little_chef_eva09 I’ve heard that song before and it does sound like it was written for WALL-E!
I know a song that could go good for a tribute or the end sequence specifically according to their romance:
[url]The Chemical Brothers - Swoon - YouTube
I’m love this song so much!
Sigur Ros singer Jonsi’s nasal, high-pitched and optimistic singing sounds a little like Wall-E’s voice and I think if Wall-E could sing he would sound something like Jonsi.
Most of Sigur Ros’ lyrics are pretty cryptic whether they’re in English or Icelandic, but I think these two songs fit Wall-E the most

Some others that fit:
The Killers - Human

Daft Punk - Digital Love

Coldplay - Fix You (this one’s a little too obvious)

Ordinary Day - Vanessa Carlton also fits Eve/Wall-E’s relationship really well

I just wondered, i wish Wall-E could make a song for EVE!
Using his whole vocabulary it would be a very short song.
did we say he had to use words? How about hums or groans or gestures?
Here’s maybe the third ELO suggestion: Yours Truly 2095. Despite the fact that the main character is a human with an earthly girlfriend, it reminds me of when WALL-E and EVE first meet up.
"I love you, sincerely
Yours truly, yours truly…
I sent a message to another time
But as the days unwind, this I just can’t believe
I sent a note across another plane
Maybe it’s all a game, but this I just can’t conceive.
(Can you hear me?)
I drive the very latest hovercar
I don’t know where you are
But I miss you so much till then
I met someone who looks a lot like you
She does the things you do
But she is an IBM.
I love you, sincerely
Yours truly, yours truly…
She’s only programmed to be very nice
But she’s as cold as ice
Whenever I get too near
She tells me that she likes me very much
But when I try to touch
She makes it all too clear.
She is the latest in technology
Almost mythology
But she has a heart of stone
She has an I.Q. of 1001
She has a jumpsuit on
And she’s also a telephone.
I love you, sincerely
Yours truly, yours truly…
Is that what you want? (Is it what you want?)
Is it what you really want? (Is it what you really want?)
Is that what you want? (Is it what you want?)
Is it what you really want?
I realize that it must seem so strange
That time has rearranged
But time has the final word
She knows I think of you, she reads my mind
She tries to be unkind
She knows nothing of our world
Although her memory banks overflow
No one would ever know
For all she says: “Is that what you want?”
Maybe one day I’ll feel her cold embrace
And kiss her interface
'Til then, I’ll leave her alone.
I love you, sincerely
Yours truly, yours truly…
“Is that what you want?”
A few song suggestions that I personally think work well:
Sigur Rós:- Viðrar Vel Til Loftárása (english translation of lyrics)
Carbon Based Lifeforms:- Gryning
God is an Astronaut:- Fragile
A lot of people have put romantic songs, so I’m going to mention one song about two friends, and sing about their friendship.
'Til Him- from The Producers
October Project, “If I Could”

[the soap opera has nothing to do with the song, it’s a fan-vid]
Louis Armstrong, “We Have All the Time in the World”
youtube.com/watch?v=wy97lOwvECs
unfortunately that Louis Armstrong song just reminds me of James Bond’s ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’… still a great song though along with ‘Wonderful World’
Oh, really random and irrelevant, but they were playing Wall-E music during James May’s tour of NASA on Top Gear
Really? That is so sweet!
Put on your Sunday Clothes, It only takes a Moment, or La Vie En Rose?
My favorite Wall•E song is define dancing, I even posted in my blog about it here’s a little preview of what I wrote: “During the first few seconds of the song you hear only a harp, then joins in the bass. During these first seconds I imaging two young people going through each of their lives. During this point in the song I get a sense of wonder, as if looking for love. Then the sound picks up with new string instruments being added to the sound, the melody picks up in a way that perceives someone looking at someone or something in complete utter awe, it’s love at first sight.” want to read the rest? go to thedreamofpixar.wordpress.com/20 … -the-week/
I know all of you Pixar fans will love it!
Been listening to Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s “Welcome to the Pleasuredome” CD which I recently rediscovered in my house, and as soon as I heard “The Power of Love” again I instantly thought that it would be an ideal tune for WALL-E & EVE.
It wouldn’t surprise me if WALL-E had a copy of the single stashed away in his truck as it is an epic piece of musical nostalgia from the early 80s.
Lyrics:
I’ll protect you from the hooded claw
Keep the vampires from your door
Feels like fire
I’m so in love with you
Dreams are like angels
They keep bad at bay-bad at bay
Love is the light
Scaring darkness away-yeah
I’m so in love with you
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
The power of love
A force from above
Cleaning my soul
Flame on burn desire
Love with tongues of fire
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
I’ll protect you from the hooded claw
Keep the vampires from your door
When the chips are down I’ll be around
With my undying, death-defying love for you
Envy will hurt itself
Let yourself be beautiful
Sparkling love, flowers
And pearls and pretty girls
Love is like an energy
Rushin’ rushin’ inside of me
The power of love
A force from above
Cleaning my soul
Flame on burn desire
Love with tongues of fire
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
This time we go sublime
Lovers entwine-divine divine
Love is danger, love is pleasure
Love is pure-the only treasure
I’m so in love with you
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
The power of love
A force from above
Cleaning my soul
The power of love
A force from above
A sky-scraping dove
Flame on burn desire
Love with tongues of fire
Purge the soul
Make love your goal
I’ll protect you from the hooded claw
Keep the vampires from your door
Touch My Hand by David Archuleta! It’s perfect right? The whole movie is pretty much about Wall-E trying to hold Eve’s hand, and helping the human race on the way.
Hey Soul Sister by Train…Seeing as wall-E is pretty much obsessed and impressed by someone who’s the same as he is and yet very different
I’m probably gonna earn myself tomatoes for this, but a good WALL•E/EVE song would be “Breaking Free”, from High School Musical. The lyrics seem to fit the define dancing scene.
“We’re soaring, flying; there’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach…”
