South Park

Trey Parker has written almost every single episode. He’s the heart, and Matt Stone is the brain…or something.

I don’t think South Park is ending for a long time. While the “every week” thing was an obvious fourth wall break (and anyone who didn’t get it probably isn’t smart enough to be watching this show), I feel that you’re looking too deeply into it. South Park has a LOT of life left in it.

TCM: No, I’m actually NOT looking too much into. I’m simply connecting what’s going on. Matt and Trey have been at this for over a decade. They just released a hit Broadway Musical, have done several movies, both have families, and have admitted they’re tired of doing the show.

And by now you should be aware of the rule of double posting. If you have to add something, edit your first post please. I took the liberty of deleting your second post due to this rule breaking.

I think Matt and Trey should at least continue the show up to Season 18 in my opinion.

Anyway, I finished watching Season 9 almost a month ago, and though I enjoyed it, Bloody Mary was one episode that I hated for some reason. I originally watched this episode online ages before I bought it’s DVD release. I really thought “meh” of it and didn’t enjoy it much at all. However, usually when I watch episodes I didn’t like much on DVD at night, I get a better and more enjoyable viewing experience. However, in the case of Bloody Mary, I didn’t enjoy it more, but less.

I don’t exactly know why I hated it so much, part of the reason was I just found the plot involving the bleeding statue being a miracle to be stupid and unamusing. And then it all turns out that it isn’t a miracle and that somewhat makes Randy feel like he has to drink again. The only part that made me laugh a little was when Randy flips off the police car and says “What seems to be the officer, problem?”. It’s ending was somewhat happy as well.

Other than that though, it’s the worst finale episode I’ve ever seen. I was just sitting there, without a smile on my face waiting for it to be over. It’s a shame because Season 9 is one that I really enjoyed. It’s a shame to me that it had to finish off with that episode and follow a great episode like “Free Willzyx” (which in my opinion, was the best episode of Season 9). But yeah, truly my least favourite episode.

Hahaha, That’s one of my favorite lines in South Park history!

As of today, I own 10 South Park seasons on DVD. I just got Season 10 today, which has a couple of two-partets and the World of Warcraft episode. After this one, I’ll take a break from collecting them since I’ve been able to get about 10 in 6 months.

Some of my favourite episodes on this season are Cartoon Wars and Hell On Earth 2006.

I only have season 1 and 12, I need to get more.

Wow! You’ve almost got them all!

What about the movie?

I know, maybe I’ve been collecting them a bit too fast.

Well…yeah. Unfortunately I don’t have that on DVD yet.

Anyone else miss Chef?

Hmm, well I haven’t really missed him. The newer episodes work without him. But I still think he’s a great character!

He was my favorite adult character. Now it’s Randy.

I really miss Chef. He was a really likeable character that made the series great in most of it’s seasons. Also a shame that the voice actor Issac Hayes left the show for Scientology, but he was perfect in Chef’s role.

Yeah, Randy is one of my favorites as well! He’s too funny.

“Hey Sharon. Hey hey Sharon.”

Well, I said I hadn’t got the movie on DVD yet. Ironically though, I just got it today. Found it at a store for a very low price and spent my money on it.

How well has Season 14 been selling?

I’m upset the outpour of protesting about the censorship on the DVD release didn’t exactly happen. Hopefully nobody bought it.

I completely agree. I mean, Comedy Central are pathetic. I can’t believe they still feel threatened by some warning by an Islamic extremist from a year ago. To add insult to injury, that guy was ARRESTED, yet Comedy Central still feel threatened by some stupid post he made on a website. What I also find odd is that 201 is censored, while 200 mostly isn’t (with Muhammad’s name uncensored) while that was the episode that caused all the controversy. Remember in Cartoon Wars Part II when Kyle made a statement about free speech? Well, Comedy Central obviously didn’t get that message.

Hopefully by the time it’s released in the UK, Comedy Central will have grown a pair and have released the uncensored version of 201.

Are there bleeps sounds on the DVD?

Haha, just the thought of him saying that crackes me up.
