Ugg I think summer is officially over and we are in the fall season now. That’s OK that means Christmas is around the corner!!!
yeah - I’m already starting to think of gifts for friends and family. I also can’t wait for Thanksgiving…best holiday ever! ![]()
I’m sort of pleased we don’t have Thanksgiving here- not because of the idea of it, but because it’s literally right next to my birthday, and having two big occassions at once is always annoying. ![]()
But yeah, Christmas isn’t too long now! ![]()
Yes thanksgiving is always fun. My parents do not live in USA so i usually go out of town or something
Oh yeah, I forgot that September is almost over, meaning it is getting colder and two very special holidays are coming up.
Well, yesterday it was 86 degrees where I live, but here comes the lower temperatures. ![]()
Yeah, it’s definitely autumn now. Plenty of rain here. ![]()
We got some rain over here in California, as well, and I must say that it’s about time! The weather is finally taking a turn for the colder, but I’m likin’ the fall and winter seasons more than the summer one nowadays. For one thing, there aren’t as many allergies floating around; henceforth, I can actually breath for once. For another thing, I love the wind. Love it! We get plenty of it in the fall, so I’m all for the autumn days…
On the down side, I can’t believe that’s almost Christmas. Seriously, the days are going by so fast that it’s not even funny. ![]()

It was around 98*F around here yesterday. My dad is afraid that when the weather changes around here. It’s going to do it upbruptly. No change in weather yet.
Still Hurrican Season in Florida, but haven’t seen too many this hear, We had a tornado touch down over the weekend that was pretty freaky
I think yesterday, we have got rain where I live for the first time in a year or so.
Al least someone is getting rain somewhere ![]()
T_T We’ve gotten a lot of rain. It was freezing cold and raining on Sunday and I had to walk to work. Not fun XD
This morning, it was raining. Then it turned sunny. Then, by midday, it was raining again. Early afternoon, sunny. Late afternoon, thunderstorm and heavy rain. And now, there’s a rainbow in the sky which I can very clearly see from my bedroom window. It’s sunny again. ![]()
lizardgirl - That’s insane, dude…
(snigger)
When I took a trip to Vancouver, Canada in the fall it rained approxiamately five…stinkin’…days out of the week I was there. It was so pitiful. I mean, I love the rain, but sheesh… ![]()
I wish we could trade places, lizardgirl! Here in California we usually get zip rain until the fall and winter months, and even then you’re lucky to get any thunderstorms at all… ![]()

All of the sudden, this thread has started talking about cold weather instead of summer now. ![]()
Mitch- Oh, believe you me, if I could trade places with you, I would! I mean, my bedroom’s like ten degrees because it’s freezing outside and we haven’t put on the central heating yet.
And who’d say no to a tan all year round? ![]()
TSS- Maybe we should start an ‘autumn’ or ‘winter’ thread? ![]()
Or we can just rename this thread to the all seasons thread
It’s weird: out where I live, the summer weather just won’t go away. It’s like it’ll be cold and cloudy/wet for a few days and we’re all like “here it comes”, but then for the next week or so it’ll be sunny and 80. I’m not complaining - no way! - but I don’t remember summer being around this long, heheh. ![]()
