Lets see, Starting from June 1st at 12:00 am to June 30th at 11:59 pm. The churnh youth group I’m in is going to be doing a Media Fast. That Means, No Video Games, not watching TV, no watching movies, no listening to the Radio, no Text Messaging, very limited usage of a computer, and no Internet which means no PP and other site i go to. Also during June, I’m going to be doing a week long thing with the Order of the Arrow called ArrowCorps5. In which will be clearing trees and other stuff at Mark Twain State Park. And in July, I’m going on a trip to Washington DC with the Boy Scout troop I’m in.
Other than that, I’m do nothing that I know of at the moment.
I seriously need that! I’d need someone to enforce it though. 
Even spending time in Lancaster doesn’t help - they have computers at the local library. 
OMG! You’re not actually participating in that, are you? Why is it called a “fast”? Or is it run by boomers who think that media is “eating your mind” and they sit on the couch all day watching Judge Judy? xDDD ROFL
However, if you are addicted to those things, and it’s having a negative influence on your life, it’s best to take a break, so if that’s you, Mr. Wii, take a break.
nightwheel - No major media for a month? My friend, you have much endurance! I’m about to go through a withdrawal from the internet myself, but I’m not doing away with TV, movies, radio, etc. What do you intend to do with your extra spare time?
I forgot to add that I also will not be allowed to read Magazines or listen to any other music other than Christian music.
@A113 and FireFly: Yes I am doing this. But to be totally honest, If it isn’t for the fact that my youth leaders at the church i go to is making everyone in the youth group do this. I probably would not be doing it.
@everyone: F.Y.I, my youth leaders are a Husband and Wife team.
@FireFly (again): 6 months ago when my youth leaders announced that they were going to do this this year. The fast was only going to be a week. But somewhere between now and then. The fast’s time span was changed to a full month. And at one point, one of the youth leader (the Husband). Was going to allow video games. But the other youth leader (the Wife) said no. And that was the end of that allowment during the media fast.
@A113: Yea, Mr. Wii has been working really hard ever since I got Brawl.
Oh yea, I start the media Fast in about a Week and 2 days.

Lemme tell you that you don’t need to worry about “media” taking over your life. You use it for certain purposes. Now if those purposes are bad, then you should get away from it, yes, but it’s not a hypnotizing monster or anything, like the boomers think. Good luck, though. We’ll sure miss you.
I can see why getting away from media for a bit might be a good idea. I’d be quite inclined to believe that, along with the increase in fast food restaurants, accessible media such as the TV and the internet probably are helping increase obesity rates. And it’s good to get outside once in a while, appreciate nature and all of that sort of stuff.
Although I most certainly couldn’t give up all the things you are giving up, nightwheel, so good for you for trying to get media out of your life for a while.
Yes, if you start getting obese while at Pixar Planet, maybe you should be doing something else. xD
Well, I graduate in about 2 weeks, so summer is just around the corner.

I’m finally done with school since this last Saturday. But I’ve yet to get my grades.
As far as summer plans go, I’ll be happy just to have at least one trip into the city again, and a trip to Lancaster PA. Those two are normal trips for us on our time off anyway, but I’ll be happy with just that.
Well, when summer does come and school is out, I won’t go busting into that song. Rather than that, I would just shout at the top of my lungs “FREEDOM!!!”
I just realised that the day we break up for summer, July 18th, is the same day that Wall-E is going to be released in the UK! Well, looks like I’ll be dragging my friends along to the cinema that afternoon, then…
