Tangled

I clicked “watch” on their DA, they got a lot of good drawings.

Awesome.

Her name is Rain1940. At least I’m sure it’s a her, most likely.

Clip from the short film: youtube.com/watch?feature=pl … Eth94nBIIk

I didn’t even realize they were making it. When is it being released?

It’ll be released next week before the 3D re-release of Beauty and the Beast.

The short could be fun. Great to see the tavern thugs again as they provided some good comic relief in the film.

Haha that clip is great. 8D But, Rapunzel’s wedding dress, is just like her princess dress, which I did not like. :frowning:

Funny clip.

I wonder how Maximus and Pascal are going to get the rings back.

Their have to go on an adventure as the ring’s have great power in them. An an evil wizard want’s them.

I cant wait for that!

Did anyone see NC’s review?

Of what? Tangled? I’d love to see it.

Yes, here it is.

Eh, I did not like his review for this one. Or PatF. I agree with most of his reviews though, and he did give both of them good reviews.

Did you not like he hated the voice acting. I kind agree with him. They do talk pretty modern. Rapunzel says “For like the first time ever!” Now much people said “like” in a sentence like that back then. Flynn says something like “How you doin?” Which is also modern talk.

But I think that had more to do with the screenplay writers than the actual voice acting ^^.

I pretty much agreed with his review. Although the story was a bit predictable at times, it was still solid.

I wish he talked more about Gothel. he really didn’t say a thing about her.

Yeah, the inclusion of “like” is a little irritating, but thankfully it seemed to be the extent of the modernizing. What if Tangled was actually like its first trailer? All things considered, we got pretty lucky on that

I didn’t mind Mandy Moore or Zach Levi at all. NC thinks the acting seems very forced and all you can see is someone talking behind a microphone. I never got that impression from them, but that’s just me.

I also disagree with his theory that Tangled did better than PatF at the box office because it’s computer generated and the ads made adults think it would have adult jokes. Tangled has stronger characters and a better story than PatF, and that’s why it was more successful, IMO. I enjoy PatF but it just… I don’t know. It doesn’t have the same spark as Tangled, for me, at least. And Princess and the Frog definitely had better advertising. On the ads alone, I wouldn’t have given Tangled a chance.
